Witcher 2 has by far the superior story. The antagonist was cool, intimidating and sympathetic. Very well written. if you want a more focus adventure, I recommend you start with that one. The 3rd game is a very long game, but haven played it recently I no longer see it as a plus. Still good but a massive timesink.
