We had these threads for like a week after the switch 2 direct. I mean it's cool that SE confirmed the entire trilogy is coming to the console but there's really nothing much to say especially since FF7R is a five year old game
I'm playing Integrade on deck for the first time since it is only $30 on sale now. I'll just say I highly recommend not getting hyped to play a 5 year old port. Also it's the definition of dropping the ball.
If they'd announced Rebirth as well then that would be something to anticipate I guess.

I might get it. The only reason why I'd get a PS5 Pro is for the FF7 remake trilogy. It's just I don't see the Switch 2 being able to handle Rebirth and the third instalment unfortunately. People have gotten the PS5 Pro just because of Rebirth because they were not happy with it on the regular PS5.

Maybe it’s my own eyesight going to shit but I played Rebirth on my Piss5 with no issues and really couldn’t tell any difference between the standard Piss5 and the Piss5 Pro.

FF7 is one of the best games ever made. No one is excited for this rerelease of Advent Children: the Game.
In my defence, I mainly got it because I never had a Piss4 but got it just before Sony made all those PC port announcements. Also why did it take so long to port Ghost of Sushi to PC? All other Piss games get ported 1 to 2 years after console release and if they’d stuck to that pattern I’d have been incentivised to stick with and upgrade my PC.

What is unique enough to be called an FRPG? Painting? Okami games also focus on drawing. FF6 also uses drawing as combat. The whole freemason33 game is about putting everything together. And then stuffed the Frenchness into just the outer shell. The color tone and final boss are from Elden Ring. The battle system is from JRPG. The UI is from Persona 5.
I can understand why people are annoyed by this game. Because it is a rip off of many things. and was praised as being excellent
And like other western games, it's just a WRPG that copies the mechanics of a JRPG. Because they did not dare to question the religious god. and revolves around the drama of individuals
