Yeah fuck this. This game could've benefitted tremendously if it was a looter shooter where you build up your character with extra relics and gear instead of a hero shooter. Imagine buildcrafting like in the original Souls games but with every single Souls boss in increasing levels of difficulty. It would have been perfect but the hero stuff just ruins it

This just seems to be a game they're not that serious about and as you said probably had made as a training assignment for new staff, especially people starting out, but it still dilutes their catalog.

Is the combat actually designed for multiplayer? Do characters have synergistic moves that interact or is it the same garbage as ER where everything is one big canned animation that exists in a vacuum with no actual combos or interactions? Do bosses actually behave differently to account for more players or is it the same shit as in ER but sometimes they'll randomly switch the target they're locked onto?

Honestly I'm just waiting for the sequel to Armored Core 6. Usually what happens with Armored Core is that the initial generation's release is alright but not excellent but the sequel is fantastic. AC6 was already good so I'm just looking forward to whatever they do next with Armored Core, because I don't think they'll be making a new solo Souls game for a while
