That isn't the kind of problem that delays a game. It's a complete mystery why ace combat even has real licensed planes in the first place when it's an anime game set in a fictional universe, absolutely nothing would be lost by just making legally distinct copies of real planes, it would actually be an improvement because we wouldn't have to deal with licensing bullshit making it impossible to buy or re-release old games.

The series depserately need customised loadouts. Having armaments tied to aircrafts really limits how much fun you can have.

All the ground pounding weapons also need a bit more work.

Eurofighter GmbH actually do make sure that anyone who uses their plane says it's good. You know how when you start the game it lists all the companies that make the planes but specifically says that Eurofighters are highly advanced or something like that? That's because they insist people say their plane is cool.
I don't think they go so far as to demand the stats be changed, but they do demand it have a label talking about how good it is.

What's worse is that AC 7 itself is light on content and feels rushed. the only part of the game I can see taking ages to make is the soundtrack.

They could just have a few more weapon options per jet instead of just three. Project Wingman has significantly more weapons per jet than AC does and everyone seems alright with that. And you get to equip multiple at once.
6 had four weapon options for some jets and nobody had a problem with that either.

What AC needs is clear distinctions between fighters and attackers and also to be multiplayer so you're forced to play your role.

You know, with PA being formed into its own division, I suspect they decided to be ambitious right off the bat, like doing detailed ground level and real time cloud simulations and shit like that and somewhere along the line things went wack in the development because they bit off more than they can chew.

I'm mainly interested in PA adding bullet drop, proper physics, aircraft destruction, mission variety, deeper custom loadouts and potential coop mode.
