Fighting Balteus on release was the first time in a long time a game captured me in an autistic fashion. Wish I could go back in time, erase my memory, and do it again.

Elden Ring is good. Elden Ring Nightreign is the absolute definition of slop, and it selling at all is a bad path for FromSoft.

Balam is 6thgen's crest. And ac has always had a theme of their mirage themed groups gaining the upper hand in all conflicts. There was no reality where balam wins.

Nightreign's design would have worked better for AC anyways. Like a mix between a roguelite and ACV/Chromehounds. Could have been some Coral phenomenon. World bosses like Spirit of Motherwill. What a misstep.

Having an AC game get an expansion just makes too much sense, every other AC gen has at least one expansion
The core gameplay loop is pretty good in 6 but the game could use some more parts like more quad, tank, hover, reverse-joint legs and more back weapons like flares or missile-defence systems
Hell just more of everything honestly, give me weapon arms, radar systems, ammo / energy boosters and some harder enemies to fight and more sections like the g1 michigan assassination mission while also using the disk 3 soundtrack

the biggest flaw of Armored Core 6 for me was that there simply weren't enough fights to use your arsenal on, an that's a game where the combat on its own merits was fun enough that I wanted to fight more. an endless tower kinda mode roguelite armored core part rewards would've been the only time this formula would've been cool. elden ring is the complete opposite, the last thing I want is to do combat and nothing else in that game because of how shallow that aspect of it is.

I just want some missions that can actually provide a decent challenge instead of every mook enemy being pissweak and then bosses being sucked directly from the Elden Ring slop trough. I don't understand why every modern game has to be 90% piss easy boring enemies you can mow down with your eyes closed until you randomly encounter a boss that you have to beat your head against for an hour.

Most bosses in AC6 are a cakewalk outside of your first balteus and the final bosses excluding walter

The red coral thing took me a good number of tries. I would need to play it again to see the buffs and changes. I know they nerfed Balteus to the ground for some reason. It was a fun challenge before, not sure why they would change that. Never felt like Elden Ring shit with "oh you blinked so you lose to never ending combo" or "oh you dodged to the left? AI auto senses this and throws where you're going to be" but just enough that it'd often take a couple tries or so on a boss. Then you had others that were harder but still fair like Balteus or Michigan.

But all the bosses were piss easy thoughbeverit.

Not really, it is slightly easier but it's still leagues above fighting an enemy mech that does little bunny hops and pew pews at you occasionally lol
