I know this is a long shot but; When I make an adjustment to a value in Cheat Engine to mess with the body mesh, it occasionally crashes (as they tend to do as you browse memory regions manually) and I just start it up again. Stellar Blade REFUSES to load up again after it crashes and nothing short of an OS reinstall fixes it. I've tried: deleting scan cache, deleting registry, reinstalling steam/stellar blade, purging appdata, purging save files and crash logs. Never had I had a game act like this after being messed with and I've tinkered with everything. Any insight on something I've overlooked would be appreciated.

The story and characters are more one note than Nier's, but the combat and exploration is FUCKING GREAT in Stellar Blade (lots of combat mechanics and they have situational usefulness for offense and defense), whereas it was mediocre to decent in Nier (the dodge is too broken and you can spam it too easily and that's not even going into how broken you can get with certain chips). The music in both games is great honestly, so that's a plus for both of them.

The boss fight at the end of the demo is fun though, and if you clear the demo you get to fight another boss with more abilities unlocked. You also get to see a few more outfits and stuff. It's worth doing in my opinion.
