load into my first match
the two other players in my game instantly start sprinting in opposite directions
while im trying to figure out the landmarks on the map and how the bizarre mana recovery system works my two other companions have already gone under the map into a dungeon
try to run to where they are but stuck outside a locked gate
my teammates are inside the locked gate fighting a boss, they kill it, it drops loot and they pick it up
they notice me flailing around and open the gate
pick up some equipment on the floor and look at it deciding if i want to use it over my main weapon
while im doing this my two teammates are already sprinting away
they get to a crucible knight
one of my teammates gets killed by the crucible knight and quits the match instantly
second teammate gets killed by the crucible knight while im just reaching where they ran to
he also quits instantly
im now fighting a crucible knight solo while the storm is closing in
storm closes in, my character dies, i lose a level that i cant get back because all my shit is in the storm now
try to leave the match as well
it warns me if i leave i will "incur a penalty" so i decide to stay
running around now underlevelled not really knowing where to go by myself
boss health bar appears but i get stuck somewhere where i cant navigate around the obstacle without running into the storm
die in the storm again (it drains your hp super fast)
im now back to level 1
map is swarming with enemies clearly meant to be fought with a group of 3
keep dying over and over while tabbed out typing this
eventually the game ends because i died during the night or someshit
not a great first experience, i'm not sure about this one, it seems like a fun idea but i can see the community of malding spergs who play these games will easily ruin it
