PC gaming isn't any more expensive than console gaming in the long term. It's a higher initial investment, but you save a ton on not having to pay for 3rd-party online services (PS+/XBL) to use the internet you already pay for, frequent sales on Steam and GOG (and easier piracy), and you can still play most of your old games without having to buy remasters (though it may take some shenanigans like running a VM of an older OS or limiting CPU core usage).

These guys also forget that the Steam Deck 2 will be $550 while the Xbox PC box in 2027 is going to be $1000+ while the PS6 in 2028 is going to either be $800+ or $1000+ depending on tariffs so, home consoles will cost significantly more.

It's a higher initial investment that doubles in cost to replace every few years as gpus stopped seeing improvements only price hikes. PC is not suitable for gaming. The only cost effective platform going forward is consoles.

Because they make games for a specific demographic (children) that other consoles have moved away from, their fans are extremely isolated and dependent on them. Add in that they're the only one of the big 3 to still push exclusives as a selling point and that most of those exclusives are made in-house and you get a core fanbase comprised almost entirely of literal children and manchildren who don't play anything else or interact with games from other studios. Normal gamers may play and enjoy nintendo games alongside other games, but tendies ONLY play nintendo games. They're essentially stuck in a 90s/early 2000s consolewar mindset and mistake everyone else having moved on as them winning.
