because the dev made the price like that, it is worth it cuz you can interect with people online, maybe even make friends, it sucks you in easily with the fishing mechanic imo, gambling + getting drunk, you can relax and watch something on the side while you play, you can play the guitar and make music with it which is sick, you can costumize your character as you wish, fun with friends, those are my reasons and also gay sex
