the answer to the problem of (((taxes))) was selling a shitton of booze and dope all along

At last I truly see

These yukkuris are not taking it easy at all

You can grind herbs into powder too, there's no reason to sell them as is.

What's the expected 1.0 release? One year? 5?

any way to scale individual UI elements? the nerun widget gets all fucked because she scales with the rest of your stuff

HOW

As someone who only played E+ and never original or oomst, I thought Elin's relative glacial pace would annoy me but I found it to be extremely comfy.
Being low power means stuff like potions and rods are actually useful.
It's a cool feeling having to use the tools available to me instead of just flash stepping everywhere doing judgement cuts, or magic blasting people with absurd damage stacking feats.

is casino pure gambling or does any of the machines have a positive return?

It will be made available to the rest of us eventually

Basketball is purely a precision test.

I had an entire text ready, but you are clearly talking way out of your expertise. If you knew how AI image generators worked, you wouldn't have said that manual labor is necessary when I have already talked about workflows.
If you knew anything about image processing, you wouldn't have talked about me not knowing about clamping or banding when I already talked about finding a better color approximator algorithm.
And if you cannot tell the difference between the images in a regular use case, you are definitely in the audiophile territory, where they need special equipment in isolation to notice anything.

I told the tutorial fairy to shut up and now she's gone.

how autistic is this game? I tried playing elona and it was too much for me

Yeah Elona+ is built to emphasize powerleveling, vanilla Elona and Elin are better for playing a day in the life of a probably shit tier adventurer.

FUCK.
All these mutations sound like benefits to me, really.

The random mini bosses that catch you off guard were the best addition, I think. Even for low level areas I still have to pay attention to those.

'ate taxes
luv me imo's
'ate Jueres (not racist just don't like em)

It's like 80 to 90% as autistic as Elona was. There's a lot of QoL work to smooth over rough edges and I'm particular it reigns I'm the egregious early game grind a lot, but it's still a game by autists for autists.

The feeling of realizing you're out of blind potions

Living battery won't be so funny when it eats a wand of wishing

I'm

I'm

I'm

did you fucking dictate this post, how does your stupid phone autocorrect "in" to "I'm"?

Randomize mana and stamina cost

Is that just discount or will like
crafting a fucking meat on the bone take like 20 stamina randomly?

Singing badly at parties and getting 3 platinum per quest

Now it's always 1 no matter how many points above I go

Damn it, I need potential.

Can you Ragnarok like Elona?

It brings an end

ok, gonna try out and see, elona was really lacking a lot of QoL when I tried

I'm phone posting at work and didn't proofread. It was autocorrect

It varies from x0 to x1.3
So overall it's a buff.

How do you get gold bars?

sell lots of shit from your sell box
i think you'll sometimes get them from quests too

is there a way to disable the throw keybind?

It teaches me the spell. I'm harvesting all the magic.

nah

Mine dirt
Mine ALL the dirt
go to puppy cave and DIG

lose all your money on slots

die because you ran out stamina

yeah fuck you

Can I just be a guy who goes into dungeons to collect items and sell them for a profit in this game?

So does the home ever take off in terms of money, or is it just meant to be passive? I've tried to make my home profitable, but anything I make is dwarfed by just doing quests.

Two statues of Luck back to back in the same dungeon

Sheesh... Guess I can go get those boots now.

Untitled_.png - 447x550, 406.74K

+10 Weight Alternation

What does this mean exactly?

yea

Find statue of Ehekalt in a nefia

Even 40 hours in my brain can't accept that left click interacts while right click picks stuff up

I pick up the 1200s statue by accident and get crushed instantly

How do you increase affinity with people fast to make them join?
Also, any hints on how to raise charisma?

for me, it's the cloak. fuck having to find an ether cure potion, and slower movement speed lets you train weight lifting faster and eat more

Hahaha How The Fuck Is Crushing Real Hahaha Nigga Just Put It Down

Bee Hives and crim are prob the best passive sources most've found so far. Let the bees do their thing, leave auto-farm on, and just sell booze/drugs whenever you come back for a good chunk of profits.

It's what finally got me out of the tax rut proper and now I'm investing in food shops since I can't be arsed to optimize crops and cooking.

Also, I hope this artist returns from the ether to do some Elin pieces sometime.

I miss him, man. Still dunno why he nuked all his Elona stuff but his pixiv icon is still the cat sister.

It will

Is there no way to double PCC size in game? I know Elona had an option to make your PCC bigger. Using one on the smaller size and it's a bit out of place compared to other NPCs

Also, any hints on how to raise charisma?

Investing trains it fast if you have the skill and he money. It needs a lot of money though

How do you increase affinity with people fast to make them join?

Beat them up, otherwise talk to them until you find out their likes and spam gifts.

Also, any hints on how to raise charisma?

Join the merchant guild, nab negotiation and train your yap-fu. Also parasitize your Little Girl
- that shit'll just passively grind up your Charisma.

if you have pets follow you do they count as allies or summons as far as feats are concerned. like if i have a chicken or something follow me.
If you even can.

no, it won't

Allies and pets are the same thing

should I start making houses for all the npcs in my base? or can I safely ignore that for now

Allies, I think
My kitten counts as an ally

Can I get a babby's guide on how to start up and automate farming?

Noa says it will and he's the good kind of autist that doesn't tell lies

so even though theres a feat called shepherd if I want my herd of cows following me i want the party feat

So... my goat is a drug addict

Yes
Summons you summon with magic

Correct, if the number of cows you get from charisma is not enough for you

Best way to increase quality of loot found? Hesitant to increase Fame because monster get harder but I think I'm going to bite the bullet.

thanks for clearing it up.
it will NEVER be enough

Normal goat behavior.

rush hearth stone level 2 (just sell things as much as you can)
turn on delegated farming policy
also place down farm signs if you have residents with farming jobs (iirc this is separate from delegated farming; it just generates crops inside the area of the sign into your shared chests passively. The crops never get harvested)

Worshipping Ehekatl and getting the black cat from her. He licks dropped items and just straight up makes them better. Boss chests too

Can you get the pet of one god, change to another and get their pet and so on?

Yes. Only catch is you can only have two gods pet with you at a time, others got to wait at base

How the hell do I get milk and eggs from my livestock? Am I supposed to harvest the pasture and trade it to my livestock or something? I've yet to see anything in any of my shared storage chests either.

If you're riding something, you give it the good defensive gear, right?

This
It's boring but everyone should upgrade their strength, mining, and endurance etc
Tho I would wait till u get at least a basalt are or close to it or it's too slow.

Put the grass in a shared chest and they should eat it

If the pasture is in a shared chest they'll eat from it and generate eggs and milk

do the initial animal pets ever grow up?
like can i get a big bear as a pet instead of a bear cub forever

the crops never get harvested

So I can still water and harvest them myself while passively getting more crops?
Also how do you get seeds? Used to do farm quests in elona but they don't seem to give you any in this game

Gotta make a scythe and scythe the stuff in harvest time to get seeds.

Honestly it's a total crapshoot with riding and symbiosis. Me and my 2 allies can all be hit in melee even though the 'mount' is the first one that should be taking damage

Scythe

I meant sickle.

I just found a luck statue but I can't wear cloaks or boots... Think its worth curing these ether diseases for one? I'm kinda digging all the free speed. Otherwise I dunno what to wish for.

file.png - 770x329, 547.03K

iirc the wish spell was absurdly hard to cast and failed a lot in elona, the wand was always superior.

Where is the dog in the puppy cave?

There is a closed hatch that I cannot open.

Craft initial weapon

It's random

Can't craft the one you use well

aight fuck you too then

On that floor you're on now

It's on the floor with the hatch. If you can't find it it must've died.

Yeah, I submitted a feedback message saying there should be a recipe for each weapon type, or it should open a selection box or something. I hope everyone else did the same.

get a platinum coin

rush to noyel to learn appraising

its 5 plat

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

There is no need during alpha the dev pulled all the recipes for weapons/armor for a resdesign.
There is just the one random low recipe
He said it needs to be reworked so anyone reporting it wasted their time mostly

noyel

you dumbass the tinkers is right there.

Secret Experience of Kumiromi for a feat point was always a good wish in Elona, should be just as good here

Doesn't the tinker camp have appraisal

Sticks are not branches? Where do sticks come from?

Anon...

pretty sure I saw the option in the character creation

Saw blade machine table

Put a branch in a sawmill, same as getting planks from logs

hit year 2

"oh okay taxes will go up to 700 right? That's hard but manageable."

1k+ per

the fuck am I supposed to do? Do base taxes double each year? 1k, I might be able to scrape by, but my progress is going to get shot in the foot. If it ends up 2k on year three I am installing the mod that removes this shit.

god you're pathetic lol

If your a caster who needs fodder to tank for you, get stealth trained ASAP
It reduces aggro passively and stops bosses beelining your ass, which they do when they take a fireball to the face

I love seeing people complain about the meager taxes in this game. Really fills my heart with joy.

How can I get a fridge of some kind? I'm starting to find lots of seasonings in dungeons and my corpses are going to go to waste.

So how important is speed? I got a disease that makes my skin super hard at the cost of being slower, but that doesn't seem so bad since I'm a wizard and having some innate damage reduction seems good.

First bill shows up

$610

oh no
now im down to 8k :(

Can I choose which box crops go in?

you got the cooler box from the starting quest, right?
there's an actual fridge in the cave by vernis

500 base tax, 500 per year on top, plus scaling tax going off your fame.
Check the house board and it will give you a breakdown of where it's coming from.

The most efficient moneymaking method I've seen and done so far is brewing wine with fish flakes (put fish in the sawmill) which can give you multiple months worth of rent for a medium sized batch.

epic

excuse me.png - 266x61, 32.67K

Imagine having a fencing duel with kumiromi using your penises haha wouldn't that be wacky

Do milk and eggs have different values if your livestock is a different creature/race?

On chest otions: Config>Distribution
set type+priority

Yes

Do seasonings even rot? I thought they lack the age mechanic

To your question unfortunately you need power for fridges so it's late game
You gat a cooler box from early tutorial quests, and I'd u can kill big daddies and capture little sisters u can get more cooler boxes

Well, the gold sold for a surprisingly low amount of cash. Good thing I only sold one of each to check for how much they'd sell.
No idea lol. I imagine it either gives me 10 extra carry weight, or it takes it away.
Sounds like a skill issue.

gold ingot

You could probably just craft gold furniture/weapons with that to raise the price modifier of it.

Tempted to hire this, how useful is that hobby?

uhhh.jpg - 1863x193, 109.5K

Speed is checked when the Gane determines how many actions you get before enemies take a turn
It also affects overworld travel time, so being slow means u end up paying taxes more when traveling like a fat tub of shit.

getting AIDS from wells trying to get a wish

lmao

taxes.png - 367x83, 45.07K

scaling taxes is pretty retarded for a game supposed to be about taking your time to do shit. Imagine if that worked in real life, everyone would bankrupt after 10y I suppose i could just ignore it and become everyone enemy

You can also get with tickets from Palmia or the Cyberdome.
I don't believe I have access to item recipes that use ingots yet. I did hoard all of the other ingots so I can still do that. And if the thieves' guild room respawns eventually, that's free real state right there.

You have walked 5 miles in 12 hours

What the fuck is wrong with my guy
is he retarded

Nice can't wait to milk my performer i hatched from an egg
Also is there a way to tie up livestock to the gallows i want to find a fertilized gnome egg and have him being roped as a display piece

By year 2, not knowing what you're doing, you should be able to get into tourism and booze/drug production, on top of the regular questing you're doing for plat. Only the first year was rough for me.

Government taxes your footsteps

Burn down the old forests

Make more money to pay higher taxes which in turn taxes you harder so you need to earn more money

Alongside random spikes

I don't know, the tax system in Elin is pretty close to reality.

Hire and check, or check wiki
Reload if garbage

Can you learn the feats of starting classes on some other way besides picking that class? Like for example, gourmet on a warmage?

Imagine if that worked in real life

I think Gourmet just requires cooking skill but I dunno about the others.

You know, people are raving about bonito wine for the money, but this shit turns any fish into a seasoning I can use on other food to stack their bonuses. This shit is probably the way to make god food.

As soon as u train cooking it's offered on feats screen

where do i reliably get microchips
i pestered all the npcs for weeks and got one (1) modern ruin to spawn and it contained none (0) microchips

This game looks fun, should I look up stuff beforehand or just start playing?

Isn't there a few modern static ruins

If you don't have the appropriate skill, the feat won't show up. If you want gourmet, learn cooking in Olivnia

Yup, time to make a new character.

Cool. So I need to learn the skills for those to appear. Makes sense. Thanks.

how do I get planks

Disarm tele traps in dungeons i have like 5 and idk what to do with them

Kumiromi's statue gives you that, though. Seems like a waste.

After playing the game for a while, it has a shitton of potential, but i have a huge beef with the gameplay combat loop which is too simple and gets boring fast. You either stat/gear check the enemies or they flat you. No amount of skills or magic helps, other than maybe the teleport one being op as fuck because you can just zap enemies away you cant fight.

The game needs to add tons of skills and unique classes like tome and simulate rotations and high impact abilities rather than stat wall you. Every class that isn't magic users is bump-oville which gets a single literal (charge) ability and wizards get more different toys but they all ultimately end up being stat checked anyway.

Not gonna lie though, the animal crossing simulator side is much better, and there is tons to do if your jam is just settle down and make money.

Was it elona combat better at end of its life?

you have grown a single feather

this shouldn't make me laugh as hard as it did

how do i know what weapon material is the best?

Disarm traps with the scavenger feat

sheeit i don't even have disarm
who teaches it and where?

i'm sorry i can't hear you over the sound of my retarded cat goddess hacking up another furball

I was making clay with potions from the dungeon cave.
Is that the correct way to do it?
I can't make glass containers or recipients.

The game is pretty identical mechanically to Elona so its just more of the same in a more dated engine. It's free if you want to pick it up and see for yourself.

I got a portable silk material hammer. What would benefit from transforming into silk?

So..can you just, beat the piss out of a training dummy with a cane to get casting skill?

How do I process stuff in my garbage bins? I need scraps.

Really, this is whack.
By making bonito flakes, I can turn one fish into 5 servings of it's stat boots, which I can then merge with any food I prepare for added benefits.
I am literally multiplying fish by doing this. Why are you all wasting your flakes on wine.

A leash maybe

You need to right click from distance, otherwise it will train melee. Otherwise, yes, but it will drain mana while you shoot. And it mostly trains magic device from my experience.

Potions or alcohol are basically the only ways.

crafting furniture you want to keep on hand like a bed, or even an altar to your god if it gets the weight low enough.

Your options

-Rush mining, rush sculptor
End up fucking swol natty due to lifting giant blocks all day
Have amazing wood/stone houses encrusted with gold and gems while being stupid rich
-pianist succubus/anything. Rush stamina development because that shit is taxing. Buy mic for two tickets. Do escort quests and sing at each town. Become singing god while your city lives in literal trashbags
-become dungeoneer. The easiest solution. Kill shit, loot and sell anything u don't want.
-autistic balancer, try to balance skill gain doing everything. May get burned out managing it all.
-be a wizard. Spend your days learning spells and shooting magic at training dummies till you can 1 shot enemies so they don't one shot you
-paladin. Combine priest, warrior, and needs the most feats in the game, good luck.

you can turn any npc/animal into livestock and they all generate milk/eggs passively if you add pasture to a shared chest. you will have tons of milk to use for those liquid recipes

bro, your fast travel?
Tfere's a button to trade rations for fast travel on the map screen

Fast travel still costs time idiot.

limestone is harder than granite

i expected more from an autistic nip

1392586693187.jpg - 1280x960, 147.24K

Some fish have stat negatives that I don't like. Those get turned to wine while the others go into a spice rack.

Fast travel just skips ambushes. It costs the same time based on speed

outseduced a mother until she lost her mind and panicked

I AM THE SEX GOD

Does it? It seemed slower if you had traveling speed boots. Like it wasn't counting them.
Then again that was probably like 5 small patches ago. lmao.

There is two special travel star bonuses and speed, plus being burdened, or diseased, or tires, sleepy fucks speed over

put a leash on 10 years old little girl

she calls me a pervert

got a half chub

why can't I mark my equipment as important?

What does Feather Shard of Goddess from the luck shrine do? The wiki's description is blank

How do I add extras to food? I have gourmet but the option doesn't show up

need 2nd level

I am confus

Screenshot_1.png - 247x62, 36.45K

use your imagination

how do you add bonito flakes to food? none of the recipes allow it. how do you even level up cooking, I go through 100 ingredients to get one level

You need Gourmet 2 to add [seasoning] to food

how do i boot the dog out of my village?

10K orens

Lads is older younger sister worth the up front cost?

Up your Cooking potential by visiting a trainer. Some skills (anatomy, literacy, weightlifting) are fucking ASS trying to level without at least a couple dozen platinum coins' worth of training.

Warrior is the retard beginner class right?
Everything else looks complicated or niche as fuck

It gets stored into your journal's Key Items.

Anyone know what bones combine with in the millstone? I am attempting to fill out the list just to see what is there.

file.png - 330x515, 235.5K

10k is probably not worth it, but it would be helpful if someone posted her city hobbies and her skills i guess.
if you think about it you can get a recruit for like 4-6 bars of gold instead of 10,000 oren.

that Port Kapul remix

ratjam.gif - 640x640, 1.7M

if you want to just run up and kill shit warrior can do it, though you may wanna consider either the toughness god or the wind god for speed
alternatively if a god weapon looks good you can just pick whatever.

Fairy brawler is the only way to play this game

more bones

the most controversial of class and race choices.

do I really have to be some franchising business tard and pay shitty taxes? can I just be a wandering adventurer?

thief can ignore it
get incognito so you can sneak in to cities before you hit -100 karma or hang out at the thief city

There's something wrong about that portrait.

plus some low effort slop portrait

goddamn, i remember seeing this picture 17 years ago

golem warrior, worship opatos and grab a hammer, two hand it by not using an offhand weapon/shield/etc

It's real

Damn, didn't even think about the possibility of doubling up for some reason, besides genes. Thanks.

Can I change my portrait or character sprite after creation?

I didn't know this game was built around all that. I thought it was just a feature to build shops and stuff. I just kind of want to fight monsters and sell cool things I find and maybe have a cute companion.

Does anyone else have trouble hitting ghosts? The boss version of them is unhittable for me. Am I doing something wrong?

Warrior + Hillfolk/Golem + Opatos is /the/ 'tard mode.

So how do you brew wine and where do I get the furniture to do it?

Can only hit em with magic I think

you'll want to play Elona then. Elin is more focused around base building and survival crafting.

ah okay, thanks anon.

the tinker camp cat

magic only
BUT if you have summons to surround ghosts you can use them as free skill ups for weapons.
Their debuffs are scary but they usually don't kill.

I've been doing fine taking quests and dungeon diving, with a bit of instrument playing on the side. Just need to make sure to tackle harder dungeons to get proportional payouts.

Do orens deposited in my piggybank go to the bank in towns
Idk how to withdraw them

I am going for a fairy paladin cause I am retarded like that. Is there any way to lower the weight of items via magic or something?

does leaving an un'id artifact in your inventory passively train appraisal or only regular items

do you know what a piggybank is

They're dodgy as fuck. If you're dual-wielding without good Dual Wield skill you'll never hit them.
That plus fear from melee means melee really gets fucked until you get anti-fear and more weapon skill.

Get the recipe for brewery barrels, make a couple, then toss nearly anything edible into it and you have booze.

I dunno, I have almost completely ignored the basebuilding in Elin and am doing fine living the dungeoneer life.

Got some fresh slop

c_f-119.png - 240x320, 113.32K

What happens if you let the puppy die in the cave?

the wind gods buff he gifts you has +strength by a huge amount but the buff costs stamina to cast instead of mana. kind of a deal breaker
hero adds +strength and +dex and gives you some immunities so you will want that.
turn into a miner early i guess? rush mining and weightlifting, stay burdened all the time till u get to like 30-40 weightlifting, it will suck but it will help cure you.

Can I cover all my taxes with performances as a pianist? Or does the game reach a point that becomes nonviable?

Is the only way to add portraits and stuff by "making a mod"? Adding the pictures in the game's folder does nothing

yes, for portrait click on your portrait. for the sprite you need to find a mirror in a town like palmia.

its realistic, throw the piggy bank (the bank breaks though and disappears, money drops to the ground)
it just prevents your money from evaporating on death

anything cool on the frozen ocean?

make a watering can to help with crops

largely useless because of how little water it holds

fuck it, let's try dumping water on someone for fun

guard gets pissed and immediately stabs my throat

I guess I deserved that.

It does pretty good when it doesn't have to worry about hands

Fuck off
Stay in your containment thread

the pictures have strict requirements, but u also need to hit that "rebuild" button on the upper left on the edit character screen for the game to check the folder, its not automatic unless its a mod.

I kill them with my Warrior swinging his mace pretty easily, they avoid 90% of my attacks but if I hit them once they explode

In any case, like other anons said, don't do like me and use magic or buffs/debuffs to win.

Yes, I know that. I want to know what the key item does.

wait a week for the cave to reset and you can try again

Oh cool thanks

Thanks bro. Going to try that.

Do you just throw these in portraits and the npcs can use it? Sorry if this is a retarded question

yes the game uses anything it finds in that folder
i have the red riding hood mod and now find a couple of her everywhere.

Somewhat, yes. So long as the image is a 240x320 png and it follows the proper naming rules then yes it will work.

rare scrolls, rare hammers to change the material, if you didn't even know about that you shouldn't start as a fairy. that other idiot is also talking about weight lifting and not the restriction to armors that fairies have.

Thanks anons.

Is there an easy way to get an altar back to my home or craft one? I dont want to have to wander around and try and find one while my fish rot

I've heard that if you die while holding something it will be teleported back to your home with you when you respawn. Maybe try that? It's easy to kill yourself while holding an altar because of how heavy they are.

find a minor wound cure book in the puppy dungeon as sword sage

get nonstop free heals while my regular spells get flung out

This shit is so broken

rapes everything in a huge radius

also kills all your companions

go solo or get the feat that prevents friendly fire i guess?

Good question. No idea honestly, haven't seen any NPCs use them so far - You can use them for your own portrait at least. I do name them following the same convention as the rest of them though.

I restarted my 30-hour save...

Thanks, that's what I was missing

What about PCC models? How do I use unique ones on my characters?

small potatoes anon
thats like spending an hour making a wow character

Two herbs combine to make herb powder

Oath of Eternity Tax Evasion run

I'm considering ultimate autism.

also kills all your companions

Earthquake doesn't friendly fire. Or at least the mace's one.

Is there an easy way to just get normal water for blessing shit?

Chemical puddles in tower dungeons

It's dirty so I can't put it on the altar.

What is blessed water used for?

I fear my little sister might be a fucking retard.
It came with the game, take it up with Noa.

Ah, I see

You blend it with shit, blessed pots have better effects. Most important for pots of mutation/cure mutation.

Can you train your magic accuracy?
I'm missing many shots.

c_f-

any female NPC can roll it

guard_m-

Any male town guard can roll this portrait

special_f-

Only specially named NPCs that call that named portrait will use it, can use this for your player character and pets you assign

special_f-littlegirl

Only children NPCs will randomly use these

UN_

Special NPCs only, unless you directly replace them, nothing will use these either. A lot of backer NPCs are here.

Yeah I managed to find a few more after realizing dupes work in some cases.

Gene + Gene = Another Gene, unsure of how to do this properly because the one I made sucked

Fish + Seaweed = Onions Sauce

Crim + Crim also = Crim Powder, don't actually need Api nuts

Bone Powder/Herb Powder/Crim Powder all count as "Drink" for clay so making clay isn't actually as bad as it sounded before

puppy actually brought home a hidden treasure chest

holy shit am i going to die tomorrow

Similar process. SteamappscommonElinPackage_ElonaActorPCCfemale (yes even if you're playing a male character) and put the sprite sheet you want to use in there. By default there's only pcc_body_1 and pcc_body_2; add your sheet as pcc_body_3 and keep counting up from there if you add more.

if you wanna see how the data is stored go to Package_ElonaActorPCCfemale

you will be looking for images in a similar format

No sorry, wrong question, I should've asked: how do I replace one of my followers with the unique PCC models in-game?

How do you get different roofs on your buildings?

Resident board. Look at the resident list, select whichever character you want to change and choose Toggle PCC

Home tag/sign, you need a Signboard Workshop to build them

what does the spell say on it
if it says success % its guaranteed hit unless they are immune/resist

Slap a House Plate on and interact with it.

Magic sucks.

does "double your stats" apply as much in Elin as it did in Elona?

Doesn't the talisman consume spellbook charges? How is it free?

best way to get lots of bait?

how do you level up regeneration?

Does that add stats to food?

Harvest every skeleton you see and convert them into bait.

It consumes the spellbook charge but it doesn't cost any mana to cast it so you can use other spells you learned directly from spellbooks instead

Level Anatomy and kill stuff while gathering mushrooms does me pretty well. Corpses/Fangs/Body Parts/Skins and Mushrooms etc. all can be made into bait.

Magic is fine. You are using magic with a skill of probably 20 or less which is garbage
also each magic spell and attack spell has a level that also needs to level up.
and beyond that your own magic main stat is checked.
and additionally if you wear even one piece of heavy armor or a shield you get a heavy penalty without feats.

Get a scythe, gather seeds from every mushroom you see. Make a mushroom farm in your house. Use all offals/hearts for bait.
Bones work too but the only downside to this is bones are also the easiest way to make clay.

self harm, i know it sounds stupid but having yourself being damaged is the only way besides combat.
I suppose if you don't die you can string yourself up on the gallows and let the little girl punch you.

Oh you stupid fucking

how do you pay taxes with the delivery box

What did you guys get with your 2nd Wish?

I'm thinking of getting a BBQ

Can any edible turn into wine? Even flowers?

alright I made it to noyel during the festival, how do I get my wish. I got the key item

u open the tax box up and there is a square u can drop things into
pick up your tax bill and drop it into the box
it wont work unless u have the money on hand

monster body parts or rotten stuff

my bad you said delivery box
i dunno
i turned on paying thru bank account as soon as i got it

need to be a skilled cook to add onions sauce to my rice

um

Even more so because there were more ways of cheese in Elona(at least in +). Elin, you have to put the grind time in.

ya i heard there was a way to do it without travelling all the way to the town

delivery box

You don't. You either pay with a tax box(grab your own copy with furniture tickets) or have the policy set where they take the money for taxes directly from your savings(you need to have enough money in your bank.)

Walk up to a mercenary

Say hi to her

Chat option "Do you like to watch birds?"

She says yes

Action bar says she takes off her clothes

"Yes, yes oh yes yes!"

'A mercenary dislikes you'

Did I just rape her?

what the farming signs do is

1. fulfill a farmer residents work conditions. this means you get the + soil stat benefit from them for your land

2. the crops you plant within the green field of the sign is what will be harvested and replanted by delegate farming

which are two different functions. the residents with farming jobs don't have anything to do with the crops during delegate farming, you can actually do delegate farming with no farmer residents at all.
the crops do get harvested and have to regrow, they just get automatically replanted by the game without the use of seeds. delegate farming gives less crops per harvest as a result though and i dont think the seed quality can increase either.

You can restrain yourself on gallows to train your armor/evasion/shield skills while also training your ally's attack skills

So that's what they're for...

Do quests in the town, trade your influence for furniture tickets, then use those to take the tax box back home

-1 karma is nothing and the disklike only dings you for 1 point so its a nothing burger.
but she said yes so it was consensual, shes just being a woman.

I keep reading her name as Lady Udders

I got a lucky cat figure from fishing is it good for anything

just do palmia quests and take the one out of the castle. The days of desperately trying to steal one during party time are over.

You took advantage of a drunk woman

once i have a lot off money ill remake my town into what the other anon said yesterday, a female fox/cow processing facility, only hire citizens with % chance to give milk as their job/hobby.

I got killed by my pet after spam clicking the boar and restraining myself by accident...

There is a mod for her that builds on sister/brother+sister love with traits for you and her that improves as she improves. it's on the workshop.

Yea, for placing on your table

so your pets can equip weapons?
I gave the puppy an axe and it equip it lol.

What does everyone need clay so badly for? I haven't come across anything that requires it.

They also can't equip gloves but they can equip two pairs of shoes

enter dungeon

leave

how the fuck do I deal with those fucks

Don't think too hard about it, anon. Enjoy your grass shack.

I heard crim powder actually counts, as do drugs, so maybe a millstone and basic farm of stuff you can turn into powder is easier

The guards have bigger issues to deal with, like sleeping all day.

Nah you're good bwo

How customizable is base building?

how do I check if a piece of armor is considered heavy armor or light armor?

they dont have hands so it makes sense I guess.

Fucking SOUL

That's not a thing. Your armor type depends on the total weight of your equipment.

You can also restrain your allies by grabbing the restraints and placing it directly on the square they are on.

Is the story finished? Can I find this girl?

Is the story finished?

Not even close

Why the fuck mercenary are hostile in this game? It's not the case in Elona, and they do way more damage than average low level monsters until kobold/wasps show up.

She roams around the garden behind the castle along with her owner. You can't do anything with her except watch birds I guess.

I haven't gotten that far in the story but I saw this bitch in either Mystia or Palmia church

Wrong. Soil + bone dust makes clay

How soon can I start getting Blacksmithing recipes? I currently only have Ancient Weapon.

how do i git gud?

futo.png - 900x600, 14.06K

At Hearth Stone level 2 there's policy you get that lets the game automatically charge taxes and bills to your bank account (if you have gold in there, obviously. Talk to a banker npc to put one in. Find them with guards.)
Until then, just get a tax box for your own home. Do requests from the board in Mysilia, talk to a guard to take you to the tax box, talk to the secretary to trade your town influence for Furniture Tickets, hold the Furniture Tickets and right click the tax box to buy it. I think its 5 tickets.

Tourism generates no money...

It's the same one you can buy, you just get one for free a while after you clear the level 4 dungeon in the mail. Make sure to OPEN the parcel instead of selling it like I almost did since it looks the same as a Salary

does herb powder let you add the poison/bleed cure to food, or is it so that you can make bandages with both effects or something?

in a previous thread someone mentioned newer versions having some kinda DRM that wipes (or bricks?) your save file if you pirated the game, is that true or was that guy just a retard who installed his shit wrong or something?

Comfy apartments in Palmia for those who entered from South Tyris illegally

Can I set up a comfy inn and tavern?

Do I need to replant something like grapes or tomatoes once I harvest them or will they grow again?

Fucking nice

If you find a Statue of Luck in a dungeon/random map, you get a key item (doesn't go in your bag) that lets you make a wish
If you have that you have to go around drinking from wells and hoping you don't mutate poorly/reduce your potentials (or just savescum) and randomly the game will let you make a wish. You only get 1 wish a year so if you didn't get one year 1 you're behind. Or you can buy a Rod of Wish but you have to invest a lot in a mage shopkeeper + it's expensive

Turning foxgirls into a reality through genetic engineering research. You're welcome.

Yep, I've seen a few really nice inn setups in these threads

Is there a menu where you can see your spell levels like in Elona? For example, I got an ice bolt popup saying it was now level 3 but I can't seem to find further info anywhere

Yes, the original name was "Elin's Inn" for a reason.

I thought watering myself would be enough to stop all my shit getting burnt and fought a shiny candle guy and by the time the fight was over basically everything I looted and 2 pieces of my gear that had good enchants was destroyed. I would've needed like 30 fireproof blankets for this one guy.

Would throw salt on, if you know what I mean.

Ether immunity isn't actually immunity. You can never become fully immune to ether disease. It just drastically slows down its progress.

i just deposited all of my money to the banker on accident wtf did i do

heavy armor is classified by your total armor weight

thats pretty fire deadass

It should work that way but my cooking isn't that good

Make a withdraw.

It's always a good idea to have high fire resistance. It influences the chance of things being destroyed by fire.

anon do you know what banks are for?

how.............

There is vomit popping up everywhere in my village and I don't know who's vomiting or why.
Oh well, more wine material.

distract with summon rod and pelt them with ranged spells

I thought I was clever for doing this the first time I found a rod of summoning, but she just kept healing from hitting them

also for future reference, middle click a stack of something to split it

assuming you bought crafting ~
spend 10 (1) coins at trainer to raise crafting potential to 200%
then craft things slightly above your craft skill's level.

You need the gourmet trait leveled to add custom ingredients like that.

that does not give me an option to withdraw ..

correct her

it doesn't wipe
one of the frequent updates the dev added is code to have a cursed doll mailed to you. the doll just lets you know you are fucked but it looks like a joke. What the game does't tell you is it lowers loot by 1/4th and some other stuff that hampers progress.
its pretty genius to keep doing this if you update frequently because pirates get stuck on outdated and useless copies floating around the internet.

its already taken effect too so u cant just avoid the doll, its just a hint. god just imagine progression being twice as bad on pirate copies.

Learn riding skill

Try to ride horse by using skill on it

everything i hear about that doll sounds like total bunk

I've never sold a Salary package but I've never gotten a box, and I cleared Nymelle a while ago. Odd, but I guess I'll keep a look out.

i gave him gold bars is it over

did you buy the horse?

it's a fixed drop as part of the woodcutting tutorial. I have the exact same one.

it can't be equipped I don't get the str bonus.

Yeah that's just the game not obfuscating useless item effects, don't worry about it.

I gave one of those to my little girl and she's better using that than the 1d28+5 scythe I gave to her a few days ago

very sleepy status effect doesn't do shit except lower your speed

it means your damage is not strong enough
you would want to go back to your town and skill up your best spells more on the training dummy for a week or so.
a lot of people forget they can use the training dummy multiple times a day since mana regenerates, while your doing stamina tasks.

Wasn't it possible to turn skins into a textile? I swear I saw that recipe before but I can't find the right crafting table to make it.

No, came from summon animal rod. Does it have to be an ally/pet?

I don't even believe the statue exists now, literal bigfoot in San Andreas tier nonsense.

Who is tshitting and vomiting on my base?

you only have the "exact same one" because it's a unique item and doesn't get randomized, it is most definitely not a guaranteed drop from the woodcutting tutorial

Slot machines train eye of mind if you have it, blackjack trains strategy, and basketball trains throwing.

I'm definitely enjoying the game, but the dialogue is pretty bizarre. Like a lot of the time I genuinely have no idea what I'm saying and I'm afraid it's gonna lead to violence.

This is completely viable by the way because of how the panties scale.

yeah its shit

I'm a piece of shit. Is that okay?

Humans needs to be eradicated.

Tax bill here.

kek???? I guess it's bad because I'm always Wet so I can easily be frozen and cooked by electricity?

Perfect, ty

btw in case anyone is curious yes the witch class isn't finished yet, but the regular game mechanics are present. it will get its class traits eventually and alchemy isn't sorta not implemented yet, at least according to a backer post.

electric enemies and frozen enemies are kinda rare from what i seen so far, i seen lightning clouds gass enemies though.
a solution is to get paralysis immunity i think

executioner seems really strong. I was trying to play wizard earlier and this one in comparison shits all over everything early game. executioner mana body that turns mp into a second life bar with moonshadow god mp recovery on melee hits gives strong sustain.

fuck it let's do it

I've seen this before but I'm only just now noticing that weird fucker in the back. Why are his eyes so small and high up?

guess I'm just lucky to get it twice in a row before leaving the meadow then.

How do I practice lockpicking on the practice chest? My character just treats it like a normal chest where I can store things.

Is getting cooking recipes from cooking suppose to be rare?
I'm at like cooking skill 8 and I'm not even sure if I ever got a single cooking recipe while cooking.

Got them mostly from the wreck in the dungeon.

thats just how leiji matsumoto draws characters

Uhh, so I didn't know changing faiths had a penalty, and now I'm stuck with an iron ball in my inventory. Is there a way to get rid of this thing, or am I screwed?

I think it's only for 2000 turns it'll be in your inventory

You see that icon on the left? That's how many turns you have to deal with it until it goes away
Enjoy the free Weightlifting training while it lasts

Last one, since I don't want to spam these

c_f-122.png - 240x320, 120.24K

for anyone a fan of that one dark souls video, yes you can dual wield shields.
go ahead and try it. you can still freely cast spells (with the triple heavy cast feats) or use a bow/gun.

I figured it out. I have to walk off screen and then walk back on screen and then I can lockpick a single time. That's kind of jank. I was hoping that it would be like the combat dummy. This will take a real life week to get a single point.

maybe buy 50 of them and place them as furniture? kinda like how in skyrim they place a couple chests on the ground at the thieves guild to train lockpicking as they reclose after a while.

Lockpicking is cancer right now. Just EA things. Expect it to be changed at some point.

In Elona every door in dungeons were locked so you either got some lockpicking exp in, busted it down or mined around it.

Ah, alright, thanks. It's still annoying since I was planning on traveling to the capital to pay my taxes, but I'm relieved that I won't have to deal with it for *too* long. It's already down 100 turns.

there's no level cap right? just the time it takes to get more feat points takes longer?

You don't actually have to walk offscreen, it just closes itself after a bit. I put one next to my fishing pond so I can open it every now and then. I also bumped my lockpicking potential super high so it goes kind of faster.

yeah i think so
at 50-70 music it was already mind numbing but going from 80-90 seems gay.

I don't get how you're supposed to farm without spamming harvest quests to get seeds. Are you guaranteed to get seed drops at higher gathering levels or something? This doesn't seem like a self sustaining thing to be doing.

I would but I don't have 50 microchips to make 50 of them. I might just get fed up and console them in.

just to confirm, when an item says its edible but doesn't mention "fresh" it doesn't rot? mostly seasonings and additives i think

[Human Flesh]

Go out in the wilderness and use a sickle on random plants and mushrooms, it's like a 100% chance if you can actually gather from it. Also works on the harvest quest crops if you want something specific.

i think u do get more seeds yes
also the farmer god lets u get seeds from rotting things.

You only need to do the harvest quests for the initial seeds, then you harvest a few of your own crops every time as a few crops give more seeds.

I barely noticed any difference between 40-90 and 90-100 didn't take long at all either.

I have a patch of banana trees and after I harvest + chop them down I get seeds back every time, so that's nice

maybe its just me then

ranged or thrown weapon attributes are applied when you use the weapons. still makes Sustains pretty useless, but the damage element and +5 str aren't entirely wasted, but not as useful as a passive equip

looks like you can either have hologram or the actual, but don't need both.

There technically is a cap but it's not something you'll ever realistically achieve.

Best skills and stats?

Marriage confirmed?

RING.jpg - 1920x1080, 805.56K

Craft a sickle anon. It guarantees you get seeds from whatever you're gathering.

How do you use seasoning? I see "blend" action is mentioned here in the threads but middle clicking has no action for either the seasoning or the food (trying meat) in grab action or not.

if you have the gourmet 2 feat you'll get the option to add seasoning as an optional ingredient when cooking meals

How important cooking skill is if I just want to murder shit? So far I feel like I already have enough growth from inn foods.

yeah i was reading some
it has some interesting hints or plans for mechanics

beta notes.png - 1677x125, 18.86K

You need the Gourmet trait to add in extra seasoning. If you don't have that you only have the option to add in extra shit if the recipe allows it by default.

With good fertility and no seed crumbling you can get multiple seeds per plant, so the idea is to harvest half your crop and sickle the other.
Sickle guarantees some seeds but no crop.
Higher gathering you have a chance of both with hands/axe I think, at least stuff like mushrooms seem to.

You can also buy seeds in Yowyn if you get EcoPoints, a currency from throwing Junk away in trashcans either in town, or your own if you craft/buy one with furniture tickets.

At Level 2 Hearth Stone you unlock delegate farming, which fully automates farming around a farm sign. Harvests and automatically replants the same crop, regardless of seeds. However it has less yield and takes longer than doing it yourself.

Cooking is more of an end-game thing. Store-bought food is great early on but it does not keep up with the kitchen steroids you can produce with high level crops and high level cooking.

does enchantments on tools from wood or rock/bone inheritance useful for tools?
i have a lute that inherited soothing lvl 2, but had no idea if it had an effect on music for example.

correct

Marriage was confirmed long ago, it's just not in yet

farming during november and december is ass. good time to go dungeon spelunking.

Is there no handheld cooking item like in elona?

Literally all of them, you train your stats by doing stuff. Some will be naturally higher than other due to your playstyle but you will slowly be leveling everything

How do I get these eco points? I set up the garbage with burnable/non and fertilizer but nothing.

I'm going to be done with this game before Eye of Mind levels up once

You can pick up your campfire, or any other station, you just need empty hands.

Thanks, just picked up that one.Lucky I got the feat points still saved almost a year in game instead of getting all those easily negated/mutated stat like in elona a decade ago.

does your city need to reach a certain hearthstone level to actually get tourists? i am level 2 hearthstone and can enable tourist protection, yet i never seen a tourist arrive yet. im assuming there is some minimum tourism amount, or hearthstone needs higher level.

is it just slow or completely halted?

An actual trashcan.
Yeah there was a patchnote yesterday that plants that don't need sunlight can still be farmed in a tent though.
Once you get further in look into getting the Sun Lamp recipe from the cat at tinker town.

wahuhbuhhuwhuatuhwubuhuhwhaut but what's the point of the garbage chests then?

You need to buy the Visitors Welcome or whatever policy and enable that for people to start showing up

No and it's fucking gay

yet i never seen a tourist arrive yet

Buy the Open For Business book and activate that policy.
I haven't actually built them. If they don't actually produce something when you put the right type of trash into them, I guess it's just specialized storage that residents might put the trash into if they are placed around the trash dump sign? I dunno.

Any reason to make honey over sugar? You get way more sugar per comb than honey but they have the same stats and are both seasoning. Higher nutrition is also a debuff since you can't eat as often.

comparison.png - 632x240, 244.33K

I started getting visitors as soon as I enabled the "open for business" policy and I think my hearthstone was still level 1 at the time, but I already had a room with available beds set up by that stage. You need to buy that policy from Loyel, if you haven't already. That said, I get maybe 5 orens a day from them and I dunno how to make them do anything useful, so it probably requires a lot more things built/unlocked to make it worthwhile.

its completely halted, nothing is growing and i have positive fertility. I started buying food at the shops for time being, or i guess if anatomy gets high enough u can farm meat.

They do put the trash in the right bins, at least.

Make sure the beds are set for guests, that's how you actually get them paying.

Good to know, just for tidiness purposes then.
Guess you wouldn't want them automatically disposing anyway so you can decide if you want to trash them for ecopo, or hammer them for plastic/fragments/paper

The compost also produces fertilizer.

it's how you get lodging fees....tourism fees are from the tourist value of your home. tourism doesn't actually need beds you can make a museum without making an inn

Hey all, does anyone know how to fix rusted equipment?

Oh fuck
Spiral Kings are back

tutorial popup said grindstone

Does using shield in both hand level up anything else besides shield skill? Like Dual wield?

Yeah, that's why I was curious if the garbage containers made anything over time, like automatically making fibers.
I havent even found anything to use fertilizer on yet besides making more wine barrels, that compost box gave me fertilizer for months after a couple of days and now winter is approaching so i won't be farming either much.

Any tricks for preventing gnomes from stealing my shit? Getting the first hit on them seems to prevent them but sometimes those gnoggers get the drop on me.

Barely done with 3 dungeons

Already have a shitload of potions, rods, books, accessories etc

Don't want to sell any of them even though I know objectively most of them might be useless garbage

Already got 5 chests full of random materials

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

please help a blind man find his weight counter/values

that's just how it is until you get thief immunity gear

how do I get the Gourmet feat? It isn't available in the list of level-up feats

Thanks. I guess I forgot, since I've definitely been reading the popups.

Immunity stat at some point but until then get some ranged options and try not to get in melee.
Also when they steal and teleport they stay on the map, you can always get your stuff back unless you leave but they can suck to hunt down and turn invisible or teleport into a hole in a mountain.

Well, it's pretty easy, all you need to do is

OOOH OOH OOH AAH AAH, HOO HOO
HELLO THERE OL' CHUM
I'M GNOT AN ELF
I'M GNOT A GOBLIN
I'M A GNOME, AND YOU'VE BEEN.. GNOMED!
Oh and just wear thief immunity gear.

What do I need to do to increase my carrying capacity? I just got a mutation which increased my strength from 13 to 16 and my capacity is still only 55. I would have thought a ~20% increase in strength would be reflected in how much I can carry. I dunno how Fairy players can tolerate this shit if my Nefu's carrying ability is already this frustrating.

Very far bottom right corner of the screen.

All Hail Mani

Honestly anon, nothing wrong with stockpiling in this game but you really want to look at the configure option for chests and figure out how auto-dump actually works.

weight lifting skill and end/str food. walking on the overworld while being burdened increases the skill, once you've bought it

weightlifting skill, you can get it from the trainer in the tinker camp

You need to have the Cooking skill learned, go to the Olvina trainer and buy it

Yeah I was just dumping everything haphazardly
Guess I'll dedicate an entire in game week to organize everything and finally learn how chests work

Also I think Steam doesn't like it if a full game contains out of game themes. For example, La Mulana 2 let kickstarters get the cosmetics right at the start with these key files, but everyone else could unlock them ingame. Plus those files weren't special or anything, you can probably find them anywhere online

if anyone else was trying to force full size art into character sprites, this worked pretty good. just don't tell the audiophile

If you decipher an Ancient Book you get points for the Mage's Guild (if you're part of it), otherwise I think it just boosts Literacy like reading a spellbook.

What can I wish from wells thats really good?

Get jew'd, you have to invest your money in shops.

heh

he doesn't know

seven league boots, if you haven't already (or if you didn't get the travel speed+ boots from the tutorial quest)

Seven League Boots

this is what i think u can get from bosses. they sometimes drop skill books. since it shows your companions on a list i assume you can teach them stuff. though literacy is probably not that useful for companions, so u would be looking for melee/practical skills or ranged skills/defenses.

rod of wishing can sometimes have 2 charges

Anything else besides those? Really need a good short sword or any light armour

Vindale Cloak if you hate Ether Disease (it won't save you but it'll make it take longer)
Seven League Boots if you want to go fast on the overworld
A Lightsaber
The Moon
I wished for Ragnarok and got nothing, sad

wishing for more wishes

the most Elona thing I've heard.

basically what said

yeah well you don't know either

mine had 0
: )

Vindale cloak seems to be popular because ether disease is extra annoying in this game.

you can in fact make a jelly house.

this too is such an Elona thing to do

Pro tip: Get residents that are shopkeepers, their actual job listing isn't the same as the shop so you can invest/trade etc even if they're a fucking lumberjack.

skill issue

can you make a jelly skeleton?

u jelly?

I've only joined the merchant's guild thus far and I need to invest in businesses to progress. Are the returns worth it enough that I should be investing in stuff as early as possible? Or is it not worthwhile and I should only spend excess income on it? I only have 7k orens right now and no consistent source of income.

character auto eats jelly cane

frick

Yeah you need more cash to make it worth it.

I want to pay additional taxes

FOR WHAT PURPOSE?

Sovl

I made mine in like 20 minutes minus the gloves, although I still need to edit the portrait to match the skin colour.

Before thread dies, shill me on committing to grinding farming and cooking. My argument is that food you can buy from bakeries and shit already has like level 3-7 stat bonuses, often ~7 different bonuses and are only like 150 orens a meal which would only mean maybe 450 orens a day on average. Not an issue at all for me.
So how much better is high level farming and cooking vs this? How long does it take to get to high level food that beats bakery food

I would keep off investing for now, it costs a ton but is pretty important when you eventually have more cash than you know what to do with.
Also you can join all 4 guilds and you should as early as possible since their rank progress only counts after you join them.

Buy lootboxes from inns. They lvl lockpicking for some reason

q

Controlled gains vs random shop stock.
Farming can also be automated via the delegate farming policy so it can be pretty hands off and you can always sell the extra produce for cash.

Cooking lets you get the stats you're actually trying to level, and at higher qualities. High nutrition food is bad for stat gains because you get too full thus you eat less.

The charges are tries too by the way.
If you are a fighter brainlet you might need a few goes at a book

How do you be self sustaining though? I'm completely new to it. Do you recoup enough seeds during harvest to replant all your crops or something?

doing level 9 machine/modern dungeon

misslick into a cart sending me right into the monster's den

I got evac but these high level dungeons gonna make me bankrupt. I like to keep 3-4k on me for the random lockpicks I see selling at the goods merchant.

jelly anything
if its made of wood you can jellyfy it

Pro Tip because I hate carts too, you can left click to stop it immediately

what are my options for uncursing an item that doesn't want to be uncursed? i was thinking about throwing some blessed water on it

there are merchants in dungeons? or do you mean when you're around towns

seek out the uncurse spellbook and learn it
it will be tough to cast but if u get the minimum mana u can try it every so often it will work eventually

Little girl steps on the cart

Yells out "FASTER!"

Right into the monsters

You fucking go get em champ.

no this is like super cursed. uncurse does nothing to it

Vanish curse would do the trick

well that i dont have access to

Harvesting doesn't destroy the plant so all you need to do is wait for it to regrow. Also, as long as your home's fertility is not in the negative you will always get 1 seed with a chance for multiple, so the play is to harvest 1/2 and reap 1/2 for seeds.
Delegate farming doesn't reap seeds and just continuously harvest them at a low rate.
You can get seeds by reaping them using a sickle in any harvest quest.

They send you gold bars. Its just a way to turn cash into gold

Does it rot...?

I mean in town. I just like to randomly walk in a triangle between tinker, olvina and mysilia in between my dungeon delving. Too much hassle to store in bank and I got all my medals, casino chips and whatever currency in my purse/wallet.

putit does not rot

UHHH, I have never seen this option before. just talked to a random npc in the wild. is this what happens if they are drunk?

tail.png - 1165x756, 1.4M

only items with the tag "it is made of raw food" can rot

so the play is to harvest 1/2 and reap 1/2 for seeds

That's only if you want to expand your farm right? You just said you only need to wait for them to regrow.
Appreciate the information. Am I right in assuming the final pipeline is like this?

field of crops > farmer resident harvests them slowly and puts them in storage (a cooler??) > player comes home and cooks all the food

is this what happens if they are drunk

yes. If you're not a succubus there is no reason to do it though. You lose 1 karma, often get confused and dimmed and most importantly the amount of orens you get is pitiful

Yup, that's what I do.
Leave for adventure leaving a field of corn (has END potential) at home, come back to 10+ corn every week or so, cook and eat all of them, go back out for more adventure.

Holy water then

i think you lose karma if people see you, but the person you do it with likes you more

If you're not a succubus there is no reason to have sex

okay incel

if it's like Elona, at high charisma levels you can squeeze a ton of money out of rich individuals. Typically only shopkeepers.

they can also like you less. it's random chance. another negative reason. there are much easier ways to increase relationship

yeah that worked.

You'd think so, but so far I've found to way of having my companions use those books.
