Westerners will never understand the joy

Westerners will never understand the joy.

The only good bug is a dead bug

No because I like to play games in my room.

i grew up overseas, this really was the absolute shit

get out of school

take bus into downtown

go to pc cafe

play for awhile with bros

order some food from front desk that orders it on behalf of you

they yell when it's arrived

play some more CS

leave and go home around 7 or 8

god fucking damn i miss those days so much

-of gachas

We had lan parties with real friends, you had internet cafes with strangers. We are not the same.

how often do they shower

I'm Euro but I grew up when PC cafes were still sort of financially viable. It was fun to go LAN a massive WC3 FFA game after school every now and then and people having melties irl over others dogpiling on them, but nothing beats the comfort of home.

league of legends

strangers

you're clearly talking about something you know nothing about

there's no joy in playing league of legends

mutts and europoors did had lan parties.
guess we are even

you have to go back

what? e-sports? we invented that shit
internet cafes? we had those too, same with massive lan parties

Probably not.

a loud, hot, humid room reeking of body-odor

rage screaming, clacking keyboards, fists hitting desks

high-chance of mongoloids starting fights with other people

it's probably less bad for koreans because they rarely stink and are fairly respectful, but it'd be a nightmare in burgerland unless it's a highly-curated group, which would probably require a membership fee

Dota comp scene just isn't the same anymore now that China dota is dead

Everyone knows eachother in a pc cafe there with an overall sense of comraderie and good vibes among the young men who are there to just have a good time and play some games.
People actually care and interact with eachother in eastern countries communities unlike you cold and apathetic white people who won’t even say hello to your neighbor

koreans

fairly respectable

lol, maybe

rofl, perchance

lmfao, surely

relatively, i guess, especially to the average mongoloid in the American public.

Unitedstatian, we had some "gaming cafes" pop up in the mid 00's, they were the dopest shit, the best one was a revamped arcade that had obscure cabinets in a separate area. The FotNS one was my favorite

imagine the smell

You have to be a real autist to be isolated in an internet cafe. You pretty much get invited for a lan game a couple of minutes in.

I was reading hayate no gotoku in onemanga back then in internet cafe...

I got my own PC instead. Playing the same cookie cutter games is so fucking lame. And you have to go home before its late, reducing playtime.

we all had our own PCs/laptops, but the whole point is playing together in real life which you seem to not grasp whatsoever lol

I'm European and regularly went to a gaming LAN cafe

internet café's didn't exist in the west

New misinformation tactic chang?

nigga what?
i used to go to internet cafees a lot with friends, but it was back in the 2005, everyone got a PC in their home now

n-no that's headcanon... SOURCE?!?! OOur lord and saviour Xi Jinping said that you didn't. Stop with the propaganda and misinformation!

We had those. When people stopped being poor and could afford their own PC and internet they went away.

Cybercafes were really popular in France and Belgium in the 2000s, they were everywhere

We had lan parties and we could afford our own computers and cars to drive them to a meeting spot and play in a lan event. Asians could never.

2000s even.

Another important part was if the admin's a cool guy. It really defined a decent part of the atmosphere at a cyber cafe, a smaller one at least. There was one cyber cafe in my city that closed early on, and I bet the main reason was that the only admin it ever had was an insufferable asshole who hated video games, because other cafes were blooming and full of people at the time

This, Lan parties, house shows, and skating on ramps we built in our basements and backyards. Sometimes all those things in one day. Not hating on internet cafes, but the way we chilled was on a whole other level than asian and euro dudes.

we had lan parties pinoy

I love how chuds make up the weirdest headcanon to cope with how much of life they've missed out on.

Lived in most multicultural city in the world

Would go to PC cafe downtown when friends from out of town visited

Clean, respectful environment with high end PCs AND alcohol

Be one of the only white guys in the room, only ones being disruptive are white homeless people outside when you'd go out to smoke

lol
