Native 4K... Only on Switch 2...

Snoychuds and PCpoors forever seething (no you will never get to emulate the Switch 2 version)

yooo nintento finally achieved gamecube level graphics

it looks like halo 4 but not horrifically overdesigned in every corner, I mostly like it.

I remember people absolutely hated Halo Infinite for it's graphics. Why is people sleeping on this? Holy shit it's bad. And it's supposed to be stronger than XSS?

You infinity plus one.

Uncharted still beats it by almost 20 years Nintentard

It is disturbing how much this looks like Halo 4 but worse.

I actually can't figure it out. Halo 4 was on a technical level impressive for ps3/360 gen. But a NEW GAME looking like Halo 4???

Samus needs a bad ending/game over where she's permanently trapped as a ball and spends the rest of her life being treated like a pet/trophy

Plus mouse controls. Gonna be kino as fuck.

But a NEW GAME looking like Halo 4???

Games have looked the same for about 10 years now bro.

On console... some yeah. But nothing looks like say UE5 Oblivion remake from before 2021. The lighting alone doesn't exist on any consoles before the current gen (the current gen also sucks cock compared to pc).

Plenty of games look far better than they did 5 years ago. Even shit like MH Wilds looks better than World. But poors (consoles) are still playing at under 1080p native lmfao.

Pic related. No games from even 2022 are doing this type of lighting. None.

Wrong. games look even worse than 10 years ago.

Every game has great graphics now. The real issue is performance. Art style can go a long way to trade off performance against photo realistic graphics.

Metroid Prime 4 is 4K/60fps or 1080p/120fps.

That's amazing frankly.

UE5 Oblivion remake is not native rendering.
the native rendering is grainy pixelated shit because UE5 is terrible.
It relies on smearing filters and AI scaling to hide how shitty all its methods of rendering things are.

Retards like you are killing video games.

ObliviKINO

Halo 4 is more than 10 years old

did this shit come out yet?

thats dlss artifacts
not reflections

funny because I don't have DLSS turned on.
so it's not that.

well it has nothing to do with reflections, that i can say 100%.

So, should I go for 4k60fps or 1080p120fps?

The artystyle looks on point and that's literally all that matters

comfy.webm - 1920x1080, 2.07M

The Switch 2 edition animations and that still have that stiff old Switch feel to it. No foliage movement either

Graphically it might look better but still looks feels like a Switch game

4k60fps for me. That's peak. I've played games at 120 fps. Can't see any difference with my old eyes.

we still want the Halo audience in 2025

huh?

and yet it only happens on top of screen space reflections.
UE5s SSR + TAA produce this garbage.

Devs need to throw this trash out and make their own systems but they never do.
they ship like this.. which is why modern games are trash and look worse than 10 years ago. no standards.

Congrats on finally reaching Xbox 360/PS3 graphics fidelity nintenbros.

Is this how you cope?

tbf most games today look worse than Crysis 1 and the game is from fucking 2007.

Why not? Halo sucks now.

how come metroid games are always so sovlfvll?

Explain to me in no less than 500 words how I'm wrong

Explain to me in no less than 500 words how I'm wrong

I'll explain in 4 words:

Nintendo Hate Derangement Syndrome.

See

the 40yo boomer still clinging to 20 years old games

Nintendo was a completely different company back then btw

PS DOMINATION BABY

Prime 2.webm - 1280x720, 2.86M

almost zero fiolage

pretty low res textures by todays standards

looking at a skybox

Art direction is great, and it looks pleasing but from a raw tech level, a ps3/360 could do this at 720p easy.
So 4k with upscaling today isnt that impressive.
Game looks fun, will buy, but not for muh gfx.

Also remember its a switch 1 game and people with okay pc builds know you can emulate them at 8k without your gpu fans even going on, on a 2080ti which also cant run some new shit

At what resolution and framerate ran Halo 4?
Don't need to answer, it was 720p and 30fps with stutters. MP4 is a 1080p/60fps game on the first Switch. They are in two completely different leagues.

but from a raw tech level, a ps3/360 could do this at 720p easy

Delusional.

Lone exploration of a new planet is just cool

Well games got way uglier after that and stopped being able to even render transparency.
So I hope they never get to the PS4 face-scanned, dirt fetish, deferred rendering slop.

This would be impressive if it was a game from like 2012

Looks like Lumen fuckery
I really don't understand how people are OK with this
