Literal Masterpiece

Linear and repetitive gameplay

we get it, you guys are going to remaster it because of how well oblivion did. great. i'm still not going to play it

The witcher started with 3 just like persona started with 5, helldivers started with 2 and killer started with 7

holy casual alert.
go back to twitter

so like every game ever made then.
your 70 hour open world slop is actually 5 tasks repeated 500 times.

I'm really burnt out on open world.

Well that's good because... OP posted a linear game??

i already beat it. only thing id complain about is how the choices you made in Witcher 1 barely matter. but, im comparing it to the Mass Effect series so thats unfair of me.
you’re a zoomer with fried dopamine receptors
you’re a zoomer obsessed with attention whoring because of his tiny white pecker
you probably don’t like cinematic ARPG slop in the first place. don’t know why you replied to this thread. ill put you under ‘whiny baby retard’

linear hub world games are worst than open world games. but… to each their own

playing it on dark is fun.
I still never finished an insane run. I always managed to die before finishing the whole draug battlefield spirits fights.

so thats unfair

no, it's not. they had obvious reasons for not wanting 1 to be a direct source to a lot of the conflict/story going forward and just cut the cord for better or worse. even the armor you get for having your save is kind of a bit of a slap in the face since you basically replace it right away and it never gets brought up again.

linear hub worlds are dogshite mate. i prefer linear LEVELS but hub worlds are not that. they’re just smaller open world maps spanned across different chapters. it’s shite mate
fuck that brotha. I like when muh choices matter

I really liked it, I have to say. Nice story, nice musics.

Beat it twice. Need to play it again when I finally get around to playing Witcher 1 so I can have my actions follow through my saves.

I did though, when it released. Its the weakest of the 3, but i cant say i dont love the story split. I cant say i remember any game trying something like that ever again, maybe wotr with its mythic paths

sovl trilogy and each with their own shining elements. Flotsam and its forest were so fucking comfy.

i played all the witcher games
2 is the worst one, sorry

Should I play it with Combat Rebalance mod or go vanilla?

is this the thor's actor's brother? damn what a downgrade from that superman actor that reloads his fists.

the story split is the best. it feels like 2 different games so it offers replayability. too bad CD Red fell for ESG

Played it several times. Done Roache's and Iorveth's path.

Done Roache's and Iorveth's path.

Aren't those the only paths you can take?

I have heard good things about it but the autist in me compels me to play the Witcher 1 first and holy shit is it bad

yes but he just wanted to sound kinda retarded

Yes, but they are different. TW2 is one of the few games where the game is completely different depending on which path you take. Both paths are good though.

they should have just had a nugget or two of the story from 1 carry over (probably a character and one background event) and then the rest of 2 could be the blank slate like they wanted and everyone would have been better off for it.

all the witcher games are mostly different stories so it doesn’t really matter. your choices barely matter. if you were truly autistic, you’d read the books before playing the games so everything makes sense

way too short compared to witcher 1
when i got to loc muinne i thought i was barely half way there instead of at the end
i hope 3 is longer

flotsam forest is still the best looking forest biome in any video game to date

flotsam.jpg - 1200x675, 310.13K

No you idiot, I could of played it several times buy only ever played the one. Saying I've played both paths means I haven't just played the game and only done one part of it.

jankslop and worse than witcher 1

Tw1 is a really good game though. If you haven't played it play that first.

the story in witcher 1 is great, worth playing just for that

it was janky even for its day, reminder it was competing with jade empire and shadow of the colossus

it was janky even for its day

What’s it like being a mind broken zoom zoom amerimutt addicted to TikTok?

cute trips

Witcher 2

Literal masterpiece

I like it but holy fuck it's not even remotely a masterpiece. I feel like I could spend an hour just addressing its flaws

The Bloom 2: Assassins of Artstyles

holy shit is it bad

took me three separate tries and I kept dropping it early on, but finally I got hooked once I got into the city and it's been my favorite in the series since.

The whole reason Geralt is in the situation he is on at the start of W2 is because of the first game's ending. He saves the King's life and is now being paid a stupid amount of money to protect him for a time which ends at the start of the game.

He saves the King's life and is now being paid a stupid amount of money to protect him for a time which ends at the start of the game.

that doesn't have anything to do with the branching choices in 1 leading up to and continuing in 2 though.

I've actually played it the most out of the three. Insane difficulty was fun as hell. I recommend the alchemy skill tree + the rolling upgrade

that webm

sovl

its a masterpiece in eurojank standards.

especially eastern euro standards. don’t know what USSR technology cd projekt had to use to make graphics like those
