I'm so excited to play the Deluxe Definitive editions of these masterpieces on my shiny new Switch 2

I was actually planning a new playthrough recently. Glad I waited.

this is the reason why I still haven't played TotK. bought it on day one buy I said to myself nope, just be patient and wait, it will be worth it

excited for the upgrades as well

I doubt I'll ever touch BotW again (played through it twice), but I might give TotK another shot as I liked that one WAY more than BotW. I have the NSO expansion pack anyway so that's cool.

OH MY GOD, me too sister, look at this bussin gameplay, can't wait!

Post your 3 favorite games now

same
i wanna find 1900 korok seeds all over again

I'm so glad I don't have OCD.
It must suck to play a game like this and see a completely optional and unreasonable challenge and think "well, I guess I HAVE to do this now"

Still posting fake emulator glitches 7 years later. Jesus lol.

Combat in these game is so much fun.

kek I love that one

holy lag, yep wait for the new tablet

It does suck
t. ocdfag

I might even get the new app. Hearing Zelda explain lore as I explore the world sounds comfy as fuck.

Developers make the effort to put in 900 (or 1,000) crappy collectibles instead of putting the time and effort in making actually fun content

Requires the first 441 (or 440) of them so that the player character can carry more breakable weapons, which are the main way of interacting with the content and the core gameplay

Retard fans defend this by pointing out that it's optional

Um, actually, that video of actual gameplay is fake and emulator glitches! Look at this video of actual gameplay but with lots of shaking the view to make it look flashy!

I've been along that route several times. Clearing out those bokoblins is boring and easy. The only reason to not ride your horse into them and jump off is that horses are fragile.

Koroks are the best collectable in any game ever. And they ensure that no matter where the player goes, they will always be rewarded with some useful.

In my 150 hour playthrough, I found about 200 organically. And it was always rewarding to find one, and always useful. If you're mentally ill enough to try and pointlessly find all 900, I can't even begin to imagine how many hundreds of hours that would take.

Wrong. But by all means cry on Anon Babble for another years.

You're retarded and can't read. I pointed out that the first 441 of them are useful for increasing inventory space. It's still boring and retarded copypasted content and the time and effort would have been better spent doing something else.

How is it wrong? Do you struggle with bokoblins?
If it doesn't matter, then why do you cry in these threads on the computer games board of a Japanese cartoons website?

Developers make the effort

It's very obvious that it was very low effort content and the devs expected the players in turn to not need much effort to find them

Requires the first 441 (or 440) of them so that the player character can carry more breakable weapons

Any functioning human being would only need/want 100-200 of them, which they will easily get through natural gameplay

fans defend this by pointing out that it's optional

It literally is :)

Switch 2 version still runs poorer than the PC version

how embarrassing

It's still boring and retarded copypasted content

100% wrong and you're a retard.

There are various types of koroks to be found, for example

Some under rocks
Some to be chased
Target challenges
Reach the goal challenges
Block puzzle challenges
And more

Within each is variety. You can't name Target challenges the same. You can't name two Reach The Goal challenges the same.

Even the ones hiding under rocks are deliberately placed within a handcrafted world where the topographical navigation is constantly dynamic gameplay.

Let me say it again, Koroks are the best collectable in any video game ever made. And you will never be able to refute that.

Of course it's literally optional
Being optional doesn't excuse it for being utter dogshit which it also literally is :^)

It's very obvious that it was very low effort content and the devs expected the players in turn to not need much effort to find them

Of course it's very low effort, but it still required some time and effort that could have been spent on improving some other part of the game.

Any functioning human being would only need/want 100-200 of them, which they will easily get through natural gameplay

You can get through the game without picking up a single one. You're just moving the goalposts now that I've shown that the first 441 of them aren't useless.

It literally is :)

So is almost the entirety of the game. Just get the bare minimum of equipment, go straight to Ganon, defeat him, and then put the game away. It doesn't stop criticism of boring parts of the game.

So put in one of each variant, not lots of each variant.

deliberately placed within a handcrafted world where the topographical navigation is constantly dynamic gameplay.

But you just said that it's very low effort content. Walking around is not dynamic gameplay.

So is almost the entirety of the game

yes anon, children's media is optional to consume
you are getting SO close

Not having shader recompilation micro stutters is already much superior to the glorious master race experience

Same and only $80 dollars per title too is such a great value!

I'd sure hope the $1000+ brick runs better than the sub $500 tiny ass tablet.

I never had that problem on my machine. It feels good to be a member of the glorious PC master race. I can play almost any game and with good performance and both enjoy and criticise the games honestly.

PC gamers are rich because PCs cost more up front

PC gamers are poor because they have access to discounts and piracy

Choose one.

Anon can't tell the difference between beating a game and not playing a game at all

You got BTFO and now you're trying to move the goalposts. Koroks aren't even the game. There's a gigantic main line quest, hundreds of side side quests, 100 completely unique shrine dungeons, boss battles and so much more.

You literally ignore everything in the game, which all flawlessly in unison, and pretend the game is about nothing but collecting korok.

And I will say it again; Koroks are the best collectable in any video games ever. You can't refute that.

I'm not saying anything about how much money PC gamers have. I just don't know what you're expecting from a sub $500 tablet. Trying to stuff hardware into something so small already increases the price a ton, it's why gaming laptops generally cost more money.
Until Nintendo starts making a large brick console that's at LEAST $800, I don't know how you ever expect it to come close to what a PC can do.

Collecting korok poop has nothing to do with beating the game so I'm not sure what your point is.

Gaming laptops cost more because putting the word "gaming" on something unlocks at least an extra 30% potential price hike
It's the same with any and all peripherals

You got BTFO and now you're trying to move the goalposts.

no u

Koroks aren't even the game.

Koroks are side content, and extremely lazy side content at that.

There's a gigantic main line quest, hundreds of side side quests, 100 completely unique shrine dungeons, boss battles and so much more.

So a main quest and lots of side content.

You literally ignore everything in the game, which all flawlessly in unison, and pretend the game is about nothing but collecting korok.

No, I am criticising part of the side content, but you can't seem to handle even the most gentle criticism of the game.

And I will say it again; Koroks are the best collectable in any video games ever. You can't refute that.

No, I already refuted that. You're retarded.

I mean okay. But laptops cost more than desktops of similar power in general, even without attaching "gaming" to it.

See:

So a main quest and lots of side content.

have you never played an open world game before

Have you never seen people criticise some side content in open world games before?

"I'm talking about beating the game not just playing the game!"

huh? but that has nothing to do with beating the game

"B-but here's my other argument! C-checkmate!!!"

Why are tendies always like this?

Fanboy has to resort to incoherent false equivalences and misrepresentation of arguments in an attempt to create confusion because he can't actually create a coherent argument

Many such cases. Even though all of them are optional, the first 441 korok seeds unlock more inventory space, which allows Link to carry more breakable weapons, which is useful for beating the game, so they are related to beating the game.
Between the fanboys, ACfag, Sybb, etc., I'm glad that I left the mental illness of users obsessed with these games behind. There's nothing left to talk about. It's just mentally ill users melting down in their own threads.

so they are related to beating the game.

I mean maybe if you're like 8 years old, sure

Effective power of a rtx 2050

You ain't going to be playing the Deluxe Definitive version of anything there anon.

You didn't refute anything. You're just seething about an 8 year old game and you have no arguments.

$90 is too much for BotW

$90 is too much for BotW

It's not $90 though. And even if it was, that's still a reasonable price for a title unanimously considered to be one of the greatest games ever made

BOTW 3 is the only game that could get me interested in snitch 2.
