Because there was a 3DS game years ago. And the music in the original 3DS game was done by Nobuo Uematsu of Final Fantasy fame, and the art was done by fellow Final Fantasy celebrity Yoshitaka Amano. I tried to find the title screen art, but somehow, I actually couldn't find it anywhere. This was the best I could get. I noticed that a lot of music and jingles from the first game are remixed in this one.

You get something at Novice, I think. You get a whole set of stuff. And as far as fashion, there's a small bit of stuff from the guy at your island's guild hall, like a witch hat. You'd have to get someone to craft it for you if you don't have tailoring, though.

It's a low drop, just think of it as grinding experience until you get your last one.

Merc is definitely more fun than greatswords in Elden Ring

30 is still pretty early, but I got them all to 30 and hunter is far and away the strongest, paladin is next IF you block a lot to spam your ultimate move, merc if not, and mage is last but they get heals and shields for the entire team once upgraded

I like Paladin the most especially with counter. Hitting with a counter attack that strikes as hard as most weapons charge attacks is pretty dope and getting SP and special meter from it is also dope.

Fantasy Life was one of the best games I played on 3DS, its only drawbacks were the small screen size and limited controls due to it being a handheld title. Exactly. You can't be like this meme and just look at one part (having an expandable house, furniture, and island landscaping) and be like, "Is this Animal Crossing?" AC is intended to be played in real-time, using your system clock, taking literally each day at a time, with seasons in-game changing with seasons for real. You buy more furniture, keep building up your collection for the museum, talk to animals, etc. In this, a day passes in an hour, there's dungeons to explore, stuff to fight if you have a combat job (or combatants can join if you're a gatherer/crafter) an actual story and adventure to progress through. It has vastly different gameplay. It baffles me that anyone would look at one thing that's similar and be like, "Oh, so it's like that game."

it’s varied but carpenter and blacksmith make all the tools and tools give like 90% of the bonus/skill to crafting. I have literally never gotten a crafting roll on any armor except SP which is for gathering

Not at all. There is some fudgery with being maximally efficient regarding how the game rounds numbers when you get bonus free products but I can't imagine it's enough to bother paying attention to.

Is there a level difference between the two recipes? The higher level the recipe the more actions per step required, so it gives more exp because of that. Also for weapons and tools, doing the more higher end versions of them and getting good results on them is what gives the most exp

First one yeah, but this game is only a life sim in that they added a kinda barebones Animal Crossing-like area to fuck around with. You can talk to your buddies and such, but there's nothing deeper than that. Their dialogue isn't even really more than a handful of lines per.

since you're at range you're at most risk of being hit by projectiles which are typically magic type damage, so magic defence helps, however there are physical type charge attacks that some enemies do so honestly just wear whatever until that shit starts having specific stats that are useful to you

I've got over 100 hours in Sandrock. If the grinding and upgrading aspect is what you liked most, you'll enjoy this. The game isn't nearly as deep with its life sim stuff though.

For people who want to transfer their CSF save file to legit steam copy save on steam

CSF save file location:

C:Users[username]AppDataLocalGameSavedSaveGames

Steam save location:

C:Program Files (x86)Steamuserdata[user ID]2993780remote

What to do:

- First turn off steam cloud save by right clicking the game in steam > properties > general tab > toggle off steam cloud save

- Copy "gamedata.sav" from CSF save file location and then paste it in Steam save location. Then backup your steam save file by putting underscore.

- Then rename the "gamedata.sav" you pasted from CSF save file to the same file name of your steam save without the underscore.

- And before you run the legit steam game, put steam in offline mode, otherwise the game will not be able to load the save file (will say its corrupted)

- Once you are able to load your CSF save file successfully in game, go online mode on steam and then save in game again

After that you can turn on steam cloud save again.

IDK if the latter parts of the steps are mandatory but it's what i did to make it work. I kept getting save file corrupted by just transferring save files & renaming so i tried it in offline mode.

I also didn't bother using any emu/crack as i was only playing solo and running the CSF .exe work straight up anyway.

once you get to a certain story point. its pretty early on

yes, but you gotta progress the story a little bit to get it.
there is also fast travel in the Life menu though, if you select a crafter you'll be prompted to move to the closest crafting table, and you can fast travel to any life's life master with a button
