If video game companies that don't make video games can get away with raising prices, then Nintendo definitely can. Consumers already let Playstation get away with it despite their declining games output. If I were in Nintendo's position, I'd raise prices too knowing that there would be less push back since I have video games, the primary reason why people buy consoles, to offer.
