I think instead of bragging about average sale numbers for a AAA game released in 2010, they should fix the game. I actually want to play it, but it has no replay-ability, add some procedural content or make missions replayable or something, anything really. The planned obsolescence in this shit is just offensive, full price tag games should never be designed to be one and done eight hour playthroughs, its a scam.

cybernetics/cyberware upgrades still feel hollow
vehicles are extremely dull without customization
fashion/cosmetics are worthless
none of the characters are interesting or likeable enough to actually care about
that piloted stealth/sniper mission and generally everything in that big tower at the end of the game was overhyped and under delivered.
the world felt better but still felt like a playset instead of a real environment
the last 3rd of the dlc was a slog
every time you had to leave dogtown to do a mission sucked.
they make a big song and dance about secretly getting in at the start but then after that you can just walk in or out like its nothing
had the chance for a more developed player housing system and fumbled it
the whole "presidential" storyline was bland and just felt like an excuse to get you inside and was basically dropped for 90% of the dlc.
it felt even more on rails than the base game when it came to rpg elements
V and Johnny silverhand's relationship was again all over the place like the base game giving me immersion whiplash.
calling Kurt Hansen a cardboard cutout would be an insult to cardboard cutouts.
the playable world of dogtown STILL felt unfinished despite it being a fraction the size of the base games playable area.

Tabletop games do one thing, which is make a simulation with math and dice. You don't need to do that with a video game. Its a fucking video game, you can just actually shoot a convincing approximation of various weapons in an actually simulated environment. Yes, I'm playing on very hard and it's alright but I found out that with a level cap of 60 and a stat cap of 20, you are pretty much forced to be a jack of all trades since you can get multiple trees to 15 and a few to 20

Objectively wrong on the gunplay part. Cyberpunk guns feel like hl2 guns (so terrible) except even worse because some enemies are sponges. Starfield gunplay is like any modern shooter, solid. There is also more variation in atarfield guns, rare effects that completely change how they function whereas cyberpunk itemization is mostly just borinf +-% buffs/debuffs

I believe it was taken down because CDPR said that anyone who wants a refund can use the Playstation system for it, which resulted in them being completely flooded with refund requests.
Sony was so pissed because of that, they decided to punish CDPR, by taking down the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 had development problems after bringing on Hideo Kojima as a design consultant. It was originally a pen and paper sandbox adaptation of the tabletop, but they scrapped it to make a movie game halfway through because of course that's what Hideo Kojima told them to do.

So blame the gook for that. If they didn't bring him on game would've been finished three years earlier and not been a buggy mess with better more fleshed out mechanics, systems and world.

Actually true. I replayed the game on the ps5 pro since the ps4 pro experience was such a fuck up and even if the game doesn't crash every 30 minutes, it's still not more than a 6/10. I like the dlc much more after the initial girl bossing is over. The DLC makes it a 8/10 IMHO.
