game that everyone says is very easy ends up being hard
Game that everyone says is very easy ends up being hard
6 is the hardest of the three GBA games. 7's difficulty is fine and 8 is baby easy.
Wallace is the best unit in the game.
Thoughts?
No it's not
didn't someone on the relays get heath killed by isadora
Marriage with Marianne!
Only hard and interesting in the first 10 chapters.
Ater that you solo eveything with your juggernaut hand axe/javelin dudes.
LTCing the game is the only way to make fe7 look interesting.
This but with fe9 maniac mode
Yeah, funny that.
I wanna do a draft race so badly boys...
for me, its the divine dragon
FE girls facesitting me one after the other until I die from asphyxiation
Is FE9 Maniac really hard? Or just tedious?
Femlear
"B-But i am hot and beloved to right?"
im not homosexual
battle before dawn is a good chapter and only shitters hate it.
do one then, whats stopping you
Heath weirdly dies in literally every run since the very beginning
I want to schlick to this dweeb but he's just not hot like my Dimi is
fire emblem
No one would participate...
thirteenth emblem?
6 has a much more consistent difficulty level that actually teaches you who the non-shit units are early in the game and guides you into a more optimized roster that can keep up with the later half of the game. 7 blind runs start with people thinking they can favor bad units and end with them getting crushed under the cog.
Its harder.
The second half has almost every single enemy promote and lots of siege tomes and even sme more status staffs to kick your butt.
Before that its mildly harder.
Imagine fe7 hhm but instead of getting easier the second half becomes more difficult.
Just dont think of it being as ahrd as any modern emblem.
Difficult wise i would put it around fe6 level.
race yourself
German and Russian and Scottish
great thats 3
enough to have fun
good luck
On one hand, I think she looks absolutely retarded. On the other, I'd still bang her. I don't know what you call that.
fe7 gives you prepromotes that just carry the game
find a draft race vod, skip to the end of the draft and and pick one of their completed draft teams, and then run it yourself and compare against their recorded times.
Not fun.
I anna compete with actual people and not some npcs.
fe6 chapter 5 mercenaries are as strong as fe7 chapter 23 mercenaries
all fe9 is tedious, fe9 maniac is extra tedious because the added 'difficulty' is that you are forced to wade through an endless sea of ten thousand low accuracy siege tomes, but sometimes you still get unlucky and a unit gets hit twice so you have to reset the map.
The community values Heath pretty highly but he's always been a weird project unit who tends to fuck you over at the worst times for me
Fe7 harder trust
For me it's Mozu.
If they are low accuracy then you shouldntwait them out.
If they cant hit anything then surely you ca jsut march through right?
Thus no tedium right?
Finally revisited and finished Conquest Lunatic after dropping it years ago
Rescue skipped Endgame
Yes, I did not beat the game. No, I do not care
Conquest is great, the only other game that made me feel as tense is Thracia.
I've already beaten Birthright Lunatic, is Revelations worth playing?
I also have a SoV save I dropped out of boredom that I'm not too keen on revisiting.
is Revelations
no
His bases are pretty shaky so he's kind of at the mercy of his first few levels to save him and he can become busted. Otherwise I tend to just drop him and train Farina instead.
We got Lyn out of it so I'm not upset
Revelations
no
is Revelations worth playing?
Yes. It's obviously not Conquest, but it's still Fates, and people tend to exaggerate how bad the maps are.
Just play it.
What's with this "Hey guys, I just finished Silver Snow, should I do the other three routes" shit.
Play it and form your own opinions.
The only bad part about the mode is the siege tome spam in the second half but even that is only every other chapter so it's not too bad. It's much more difficult than NA Hard mode since the second half turns every enemy unit into a promoted monster with real stats which means Titania's shit prepromote stats can't hang. You can always pick out someone who hasn't played maniac mode based on how they talk about her
I'd say it's harder than FE6 just because of how much of a ballache Clash and Endgame are, a lot of the aids bits in 6 can be skipped with prior knowledge like the spawn points on the Murdoch map
FE6 Wyvern Lord in desert chapter is as strong as FE7 Wyvern Lord in 2nd to last chapter
Endgame is a joke with ike because of resolve.
The final boss doesnt even reach 40 hit to ike without support.
It's worth playing at least once. I like that you can recruit almost everyone.
Fe9 and fe6 are pretty much the same in terms of difficulty.
One has the harder early game/ the other has the harder lategame (minus the final 2 maps.)
Dammit slop art starts looking better and better.
the latter
the community considers the midgame to be easy grinding maps where you're forced to slow down and feed exp to units while you wait for defend chapters to end or for units to join. and since heath makes good use of that exp he is typically trained
but Anon Babble struggles to beat those maps, let alone train heath
Hey guys, I just finished Silver Snow, should I do the other three routes
no
better to make one mistake than to make four
Don't cry when you do snow shoveling
Awful comparison. There are actually different maps in rev.
Lyn is every boys first time in puberty
Ashnard's stats aren't the issue it's that he moves and you have like 9 turns to cut a fight pocket out of the giga chad Maniac enemies for Ike to lure him into. I'm talking more in an Ironman sense though it's much easier if you can reload the first couple turns or if you don't care about half your army dying for RD transfers
Just deploy ike.
And you win automatically since in resolve range the enemies have 20 hit or less against him and he can tank still tank like 1 or 2 hits since the ragnell boosts defense.
With wrath youre pretty much killing everyone so by the time ashnard arrives no ones in range of ike and ashnard dies before the rest even reach him.
I'm not a boy
I think fe9 ch24 is one of the hardest chapters sicne its the first time the game spams wvernlords at you.
And tey come from both north and south to sandwich youre army.
They also carry effective weaponry and killer lances.
Ch24 is the most underrated map in terms of difficulty.
She made you find out yorue lesbian instead
Many such cases.
Anon that's a troon
Wait until they see FE12 Wyverns
And no, not wyvern riders.
FE7 being as hard as it is proves that map design>stat blobs. Sure, its enemies are generally weaker, but even some weak brigands and nomads can be deceptively a problem when you don't have that many good units yourself and when you need to both push and defend at the same time.
I have a vagina that I grew when I was inside my mother
did you guys end up beating this game?
i remember there was a bunch of arena abuse, so if you didnt, thats not good
boo fucking hoo I don't care retarded narcissist
technically everyone starts with a vag as a fetus. Men start growing the penis and balls after like 7 weeks but females keep it
Give them 10 mov (equal to the max for mounts)
Give them high defense
Make their attacks threathen most of your army
Have them attack at 1-2 range
Spam them in a desert where your army's mov is mostly impeded
Absolute monsters
Controversial opinion I guess but Anri's Way is one of the easier maps in FE12
Is that what she was wearing for the special dance?
bro is that windows xp
gimme
I was also inside your mother
7 actually. Had that screenshot back on my shitty netbook from 2013 or so.
what the hell are you talking about
you get many good units
In FE3 they ignore defense too
The degenerate arena grinding killed all interest in it and when the few people who cared enough to keep playing got forked it buried the interest 6ft underground
is it that easy to kill a relay lol
what a bunch of limp dicks
I was kind of excited to do the Farina chapter again because it was almost there after I returned from a trip and then I saw the arena grinding and immediately stopped caring.
It wasn't super hard but I ended up using save states a few times out of frustration as it was my first FE, people do understate its difficulty some of the maps are tricky.
I should replay it after 6 now that I beat most of the series.
Arena grinding a couple of levels is fine to catch someone up desu
But didn't someone literally max out the entire party in the relay?
You get some, but most your army are shitters
Marcus and Oswin are the only actually strong units early on, everyone else goes from passable to dogshit
You get some decent to good units in the midgame, but you have to train them up with low deployement slots if you want them to keep up (Raven, Fiora, Canas, Heath, etc.)
Towards the lategame, you get the OP prepromotes like Hawkeye, Pent and Harken, but the game throws its insane maps at you in retaliation
why did they arena grind then
i though the point was to play through a cursed game of fe7 where retards do retarded things but you still need to cope and push through
I will...to the next FE girl posted...
But didn't someone literally max out the entire party in the relay?
That's what I mean. I don't mind tossing someone like a level or 2 before promoting or something but I really have zero interest in this shit where people cap half the army after 5 hours of possibly (probably) cheating to avoid arena deaths
There's literally nothing wrong with rescue skipping though
there was literally a version where the arena grinded unit died and there was no grinding after that
Thats why nobody cared when Lucius got a few levels from the arena. It was when Raven got tossed in that started to piss people off
What the fuck is rescue skipping?
Watch out Ophelia Anon is coming for you
CHUUNI PUSSY CHUUNI PUSSY
10 anons talking about the relay
no one is playing
classic Anon Babble
Not really because at the end of the day you just need to park a Juggernaut into a choke point with twenty enemies behind and watch him kill them all in enemy phase. At one point it just becomes a boring slog and HHM just encourages that.
FE6 may have a lot of unpolished edges but it handles it's maps and enemy spam a lot better.
You can use the rescue staff in combination with Azura's refresh to get to Takumi in one turn from the spawn location and kill him to end the chapter. So you don't have to fight literally any of the capped enemies.
Post both vaginas please
but it's still Fates
Is this supposed to be a good thing? Conquest is good in spite of being Fates.
i remember back in the day people made marcus carry rebecca to stop fe7 from being too easy
why do people say its difficult now wtf
It's a matter of taste. Some will see it as impressive while others see it as lame and lazy for not engaging with the map proper.
Using the rescue staff to teleport across maps. Do you not read item descriptions?
Is this supposed to be a good thing?
Yeah. Fates has good mechanics and systems. Even if the maps are mostly subpar like in rev, Fates is kind of inherently fun
To me, rescue skipping is like wrong warping in games like OoT or something to get a faster speedrun time. Like, you aren't playing the game, you're actually playing less of the thing you bought
To be fair on my part I already did Chapter 25 on the file is talking about
Though I think I posted in a thread that got axed almost immediately
You can have it if you want. it's on Unfufilled Heart
files.catbox.moe
It’s just a good tactic and there aren’t many good places to use the Rescue staff in Conquest.
I just think Endgame Conquest is fucking retarded. Permanently halved HP and stats that constantly go down without limits is just overkill.
That’s Conquest difficulty in a nutshell. Relies more on gimping than actual strategy.
False equivalence for equating a tool the developer intentionally put in the game for you to use to breaking the game to progress faster.
Yeah, I beat SD Hard 5 and got past Ninja Rape Cave on Lunatic, but that's my personal skill cap. FE7 Eliwood normal is just baout perfect
Most of it is reasonable, it's just the absolute endgame that's over the top. And I could get through a lot of it, but that final chapter is too much for me.
Endgame is the only chapter where I feel like they went too far. There's a guy here who always seethes over conquest and he likes to pretend that this map is somehow representative of the rest of the game.
Only for endgame. Maps before it are fair enough to play normally and wasting rescues on them is retarded.
I think 25 is even worse if you're trying to finish it legitimately, but at the same time they give you a free out with Ryoma.
Nah it's not you can pretty easily handle it without killing Ryoma as long as you have a freeze staff for the left side. You can play it extremely slow unless your Corrin is REALLY bad
Reminder that chuunis always either are best girl or get best girl as best wife
You should only think of doing 25 "normally" if you have shurikenbreaker and if not, you can keep banging your head against the wall until Ryoma dies. Having to reset 27 after every endgame failure is so much worse.
That's a nice plan, would be a shame if those pesky thieves that require fast play to catch escaped with your treasure though, if you don't get fucked by green units you had to protect commiting sudoku first. Seriously though, FE7 has much harsher anti-turtling than FE6, so you really can't just choke the point despite the generally weaker enemies.
Hmm
The arena grind was dumb, but the answer should have been just to not deploy Raven if he was over-leveled and continue using other characters. But instead someone deliberately killed Raven, Marcus, Oswin, and I think Serra in the desert chapter, someone else forked the run to redo that chapter and the it died shortly afterwards because of that.
I think no one believes that anyone plays legitimately anymore and so it just devolves into arguing and bullshit. If there was a way to play it live so no one could cheat and there was a reasonable time limit for someone to finish one chapter (so no excessive arena use), people might be more interested.
If there was a way to play it live so no one could cheat
there was honest hector
Twitch with big femanon boobies please
Level Rebecca up early.
her attack and defense are shit, so every enemy still targets her and doesn't die
Lure every enemy crowd to her square, dodging each attack and funneling them into one place. the other units can pick them off at their leisure.
Dawww are you calling me best girl? Thanks anon <3 (I look like her)
the donlot discord is better for organizing relays
I don't know when everyone just started assuming that everyone else MUST be cheating. I remember relays from a long time ago that never had that problem
Hector is a non brainer
Raven can be considered early game and he is already amazin from the start.
Guy comes in the early game and is amazing.
And once you train and prepromote them (which ou can easily do) they pretty much become monsters in ch20 and onward as the enemies are weak as fuck.
And what insane maps are you talking about?
Cog of destiny is the onlyy map considered hard ater the early game.
Seriously once you baet the drea isle arc and start prepromoting the game just becomes a joke sicne their stats dont adjust to your pomoted guys.
I played in a draft race once and i completly destroyed the game up until cog of destiny.
And after this 1 map i destroyed the entiretiy o it again by pretty much juggernauting with raven/lucius.
And or pressing end turn with hector on a throne.
They are also retards for banning oscar in fe9 draft races.
I don't think people are assuming everyone is cheating, but I when someone arena grinds for 3 hours straight without any notable close calls or deaths to report, yeah they're fucking cheating.
someone grinds carefully
must be cheating
I need to make blonde babies with Ophelia
relays are le bad because nobody can ever agree on the "correct" way to play
wdym, there was a gay and lame checklist
They are pretty badtho
Rapist fanboy
Arena use is fine as long you don't use savestates nor needlessly delay ending the map.
You took the risk, you deserve the reward.
Arena is risk free by just choosing the lower bet
are we all forgetting that the guy who grinded Raven used the rescue trick to keep nini's grace forever?
There was never any risk
8 is the easiest
it is also the most popular one
coincidence?
Not if you're promoted. Berserkers and Swordmasters can crit and one-shot thanks to their innate crit boost, so when someone grinds to 20 promoted that should be seen with suspicion.
nor needlessly delay ending the map
That's what arena abuse is. Using the arena a few times, especially when optimized with useful actions in the same turns, is perfectly fine. Using it to get a bit of extra money or to give a bit of extra exp to a unit is also tolerable, but anything more is just abuse akin to dodgetanking Merlinus to level 20 in FE6.
Give both of them FE classes
gets high SPD and Luck
double fire supports for up to +25 avoid and +5 attack
Niggas sleepin' on Rebecca because 'uhhh... her STR is bad' don't know what they're missing.
0x2
No one can seem to agree on how much arena use is "too much." Some people think it shouldn't be allowed at all and some think it should be unrestricted. I tend to agree with personally. Subjective, but it's still pretty clear when someone is getting carried away with it.
While I guess it's not technically cheating if you manage to legitimately max out the whole army and rampage through the rest of the game, it does make it really boring to watch IMO
Everyone gets supports but Athos bro she isn't special for that
x2
She needs a few levels before she can comfortably achieve the second hit of 0
end turn spam makes her still bad
Tedious. Running out of weapons is an actual concern because there's just so many enemies to kill. The difficulty was half-assed.
Almost anybody can be good if you put the effort into them. What differentiates characters is how much effort you have to invest to make them good. Yeah, 20/20 Rebecca with stat boosters and your best weapons is probably a beast, but so is everybody at that point.
That's only an issue in the early game since Ike doesn't get the pity Iron Swords the NA version hands out
Clash!
You have a full army with 4 weapon and 4 item slots. Just trade equipment into the inventory using one of your million mounts and leave with Canto. You even have Reyson for dancing up to 4 units, making this shit even easier
le 0x2
LMFAO, like over half the enemies on Victory or Death can roll single digit DEF, we're not talking about a hard game on Lunatic difficulty tier enemies here.
are there any patches that reverse the localization changes for fe7 and 8?
yes. it is the best gba game by far but it's difficulty or lack there of has nothing to do with that
And yet, /vfeg/ can beat SD H5 and Thracia but can't beat FE7
adding that picture to my scrimblio collection
If you get unlucky and actually get too much defense it spawns silver sword mercenaries/heroes with bloated stats that double most of your units.
Sends Oswin to the arena only to get doubled and one rounded before you have a chance to quit
Silver Sword units can spawn with 800 gold bets. 900-1000 are Wyvern/Warriors with Silver Lance/Axes
I was going to post my 20/20 Rebecca as well that I arena grinded her in, but I accidentally patched that ROM with The Last Promise and that kiiiinda broke everything, soooooo...
Not even sure who this guy replaces in the raw data but these stats are kinda bonkers
Link is a Nomad Trooper/FE8 Ranger
Frederick on that sacred Sieg juice with a hint of Galagar
Yes but none of them will be as cute as Rebecca.
it spawns silver sword mercenaries/heroes with bloated stats that double most of your units.
ive played again 80 hp heroes with 1400 gold and ive never seen a silver sword
a 20/20 unit performed well?
i cant believe this
Rebecca has the most amount of support partners one unit can have (7) and all of them except Raven give +1 attack per level, covering her main weakness. The fire ones also give her extra avoid leaning into one of her strengths. You should never need to give Rebecca any stat booster besides an energy ring, because after a certain point nothing will be able to hit her.
Cuter Archer
Better Game
The R in Rebecca stands for Rape
Lissa
Dragons, staves, and attrition are still concerns but yeah thats the way to do it
Always safe scummed my way through and never lost anyone.
This sloppa style is bleh
Huh, funny. /vfeg/ does the same but they lose everyone.
Yeah yeah, you like your scrimblo Rebecca. Tell me about her when she can actually use the Steel Blade, then I'll be impressed.
She can if you hack the game and make her able to use swords
Céline
Looks like Neimi wins again.
Someone should sloppa FE girls into Touching Flash Hardcore - Kasumi Rebirth
But nobody scrimblos Neimi!
Alear
it is? Always seen 7 be more popular.
8 constantly got shat on until it became a modders paradise, and awakening being dicksucked despite being mediocre shit made people realize 8 is fun even if its easy.
