I think Remaster serves it just fine. The early ones like PS2 games running at 720p and no other change that used to come out on PS3 or say The Last of Us Remastered are the ones that don't deserve being called a remaster. P3R sort of makes sense on some of it. Ken and Fuuka OG was terrible, Mitsuru was fine until she attempted to speak anything French. Vic and I think Aigis (if Im wrong, correct me) were blacklisted. And they didnt do a bad job on recast, aside from Akihiko IMO. Bummer, but it makes sense considering circumstance.
P4 though? Why the fuck would you replace them? Yosuke, Yukiko, Kanji, Rise, Naoto, Dojima, Nanako, and Adachi were all fine. The contentious ones were Teddie and Chie which had VA switches. Of which I think new Chie embodied the direction for her better, I prefered old Teddie, but whatever. Nothing was as offensively bad as OG Ken/Fuuka.
It makes no fucking sense to rehire an entire fucking VA cast and waste money on rereading the same fucking script when they could have just kept all the voice lines and brought in the old crew to voice whatever few new things are going to be in the game.
