Literally one zoomer french guy discovered at random on soundcloud cranks out like 200 songs (granted many of them are just variations on themes but still). Scope aside, it's so consistent in quality yet varied in style. I wish I could say the biggest takeaway from this game is that Sandfall is a great studio worth keeping an eye on, honestly, I'm a lot more interested in what this frog will compose next.

You really can't rank such fundamental pieces of art like music or writing as one being more difficult than the other. Maybe at the bottom level of comparing SpongeBob fanfiction to a basic piano piece it might seem music is the more sophisticated with the higher skill ceiling. But at the highest level, comparing symphonic operas to the greatest of world literature both require a skillset of both technical knowledge as well as creative input. Music for it's musicianship and knowledge of harmonic compounds, and Literature for the required insight into human psychology, as well as the perception of the reader and how to manipulate that as the story progresses.

I truly do like the OST, but I might get a lot of hate for saying that the actual "composition" of the songs, as in just the notes and chords organized on manuscript to create the musical piece aren't really anything that great. Rather it's everything that colors those notes that are the source of the praise. The singer has a very beautiful voice, the musicians that play the violins and piano are very good, and the way its recorded makes it sound warm, as if the musicians are in the room with you. Other than Alicia and maybe Renoir's theme, I cant really pinpoint another track that stood out to me for having a memorable harmonic sequence, but I still like "listening" to the other tracks because like I said, everything else is so pleasant and high quality at some point the reason for listening is not for the composers skill for melodies but for the timbre of the instruments. It is similar to a movie that doesn't have the best story but it uses cinematography, editing, and visual effects to their limits which make it enjoyable to watch as more of an experience than a lesson in screenwriting.
