Do you see that mountain

You can climb it.

In Death Stranding 2

you would have instantly fallen and died on that terrain in the first game - easy mode confirmed?

My friend died hiking alone.
If you go off-trail and slip, nobody will come looking for you, not for a while

game about carrying fragile components and packages

CLIMB THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN XD

Looks rad. Haven't looked at much info but I hope non scripted landslides are a thing so you can't just settle into the same path every time

Isolated mountain town needs critical supplies

Fuck you too hard I'm a wimp!

Maybe. In DS1 such terrain is only very easy to traverse once you have the exoskeleton.

Yeah but it would be a lot more fun going down it in Tony Hawk, they could learn a thing or two from the 8th best game of all time.

They make locator beacons for precisely this sort of thing, one press and anywhere in the world a rescue team will be sent to your location within six hours weather permitting.
Does anyone bother buying them? Nope, instead they'll buy another faggy ultralight backpack to shave off another 1/15th of a gram in weight.

What's number 7?

The greatest FPS of all time Perfect Dark

If Death Stranding had shit graphics no one would care about this game.

whats there that makes going there fun?

Right on

That's a good optical illusion, in real life mountains like that would be miles apart, in game it like a few minutes of holding r2 l2.

Not setting up ziplines to bypass this shit entirely.

look at all that nothing

You can climb it.

In K2: Digital Edition

that looks exactly like Anza Borrego in eastern San Diego county California

Deadman's summer home

There's nowhere in australia that looks like this

I actually enjoy the traversal, so I used those pretty minimally in the first, myself

Is it just me or does both DS and DS2 have shades of MGSV in it? Something about the visual direction

I hope this game has better physics, particularly with vehicles, than whatever the first game was doing.

I still need to play the first game

Is this some sort of high level bait? They're the games Kojima did directly after MGSV/Konami situation. This is why DS2 is being praised as a return to MGS as kind of a fuck you

Kojimbo's team is definitely building on what they learned from MGS5, not just visually but the gameplay feel once you get past the constant balancing act is often pretty similar.

but yeah I sympathise. At least maybe theres more terrain where a vehicle makes sense in the new map(s). Mossy hole pocked lava rock and basalt pillars not being friendly to trucks and bikes seemed realistic to me in DS1

I hope non scripted landslides are a thing so you can't just settle into the same path every time

same my man. i also hope mules walk around in random sections instead of being in a fixed location. i would also love a day and night cycle.

i would also love a day and night cycle.

Good news, anon

thats great to hear. i've been avoiding most of the news and trailers.

I only played hard mode anyways, hopefully they still have difficulty options

Those things are very expensive and require an expensive subscription and dont work always

A few hundred dollars to not die if you need it is easily worth it especially if you're doing that kind of thing regularly

Day night cycle sounds lovely

Most retarded post ITT

I have a feeling that this will finally be Kojima's return to form. He hasn't made a truly great game since 2004.

Snake Eater was easily his most boring game and I'm tired of everyone pretending like it's the best thing he made

you cant rock climb in ds1 you dont have pickaxes or rope to rock climb so no you cant you walk around it whilst holding the triggers

Wake me, when the PC version comes out...

Don't tell me what to do

climb.jpg - 1920x1080, 994.13K

damn, haven't turned on my ps5 in months but this might be it bros

Crazy how this game gets branded as a walking sim for having actual game mechanics around traversing terrain which most games don't even bother with

QVD8EQ.gif - 320x180, 2.79M

Yeah I really wish the game went further with the terrain being more difficult to traverse

Have there been any games that have somehow escaped both troons, women, and black rock?

Even if it's some random IP?
