but let me tell you this, dota2 has a severe cheating and account boosting/buying problem which makes the game unplayable at higher levels
its a great game but theres no ranked integrity in it and youre at the full mercy of luck to climb past a certain rank
league is the dumbed down version but it still has its intricacies, and most importantly it has less cheating in it, they do have a smurfing and boosting problem but they are trying to fix it this year

I don't pay for skins in any game, ever. If I want something to look different, there's usually a mod. Back when I played lol years ago though, you usually got a decent amount of skins for free, but I heard they got rid of that.
