So how come killing Eito in the very first choice locks you into the shitter routes? I was locked in there for my first ten hours of scenario 2 before I got the hint.

I think it’s just a byproduct of how far off you’ve gone from the core plot of the game. The ones on the bottom side all branch off the 2nd Scenario and feel like relatively natural diversions. The top stuff is all weird side tangents that are more alien to the war plot.

BIG SF SPOILERS Unironically Hiruko fucks it up. Day 3 she does the blackboard message, Slasher sees her not fix Takumi's G'ie fucked up brain leading him to kill everyone(which she did on purpose so that timeline version of her can kiss Takumi), Mystery and Killing Game has KakoG which her other timeline self sent that, suprise, started killing everyone

Coming of Age is the best route. Not because it's shounen parody but because none of the writers involved in this project put anything out better shounen parody. When they try to be sincere it doesn't work and the comedic routes are lost in translation. CoA is actually funny, especially the last part.

I actually liked it this time.
It works nice for Eito's character in Goodbye Eito, makes some character backstories seem less stupid... but if you seriously question it and the scientists the whole plot is too stupid to take seriously. Overall I think I like it though.

I don't like how they use the word comfy in the localization. Who says that during the context of a battle? Even Takemaru has a line where he says this, it just sounds weird.

I just started Retsnom and I'm surprised how much I liked Darumi thanking me. Felt very genuine and unexpected coming from her, as she's always sort of a joke character in other routes.
Fuck Nozomi. Darumi is precious and to be treasured.

I just beat my first 100 days and rolled credits. It was an 8/10 but with that ending I thought it was a 7/10. Problem is I don’t feel like playing the game anymore. The journey was great. Better than the destination. Is it really worth doing the 2nd route? Will it really bring the game up that extra notch for me? I gave Rain Code an 8/10. That game was sitting at a 7/10 but I loved that ending so it brought up my score for it. I can’t believe I would have to do 100 days again to get a satisfying ending and learn all the truths. It’s cool that the game is going for all these route possibilities, but I think I’m fine where I am. I didn’t get an ending really, but I also didn’t work for one the way others have. What the game is going for is a lot cooler than one singular ending anyways so I understand. I want more answers but it’s on me.

That doesn’t even count as one of the hundred endings. It’s only half the story of the main scenario. It’s like quitting Danganronpa during chapter 3.

I got more Box of Blessings endings and holy shit this route is such a nothingburger.
Most of the branches have very small variations of the exact same events.
The general layout doesn't change at all.
The endings that I got were all comprised of a few text lines and 1 CG.
FB disappears early on never to be seen again.
Eito always manages to escape (somehow) and kill Sirei.
Takumi always ends up in an exploration group even when you decide to stay at the academy to protect it.
He always goes to the underground and meets Dah'lxia.
It's so fucking bland and boring.
The branches should have been ACTUALLY different, what is the point otherwise.
They really went with quantity over quality here.

Conspiracy is a route with constant bad endings that ends with another bad ending. you barely learn anything new from it and it feels like a waste of fucking time. it feels like people only "like it" because it's a short route.

It's more like it's inoffensive because it's so short. I think the true purpose of it is to troll players that didn't listen and killed Gaku anyways, despite Gaku being fucking worthless in the him living route. Just Kodaka things I guess.

The last straw for me was having to let the fat manlet kill Eva to continue Second Scenario. I refused and got the best ending for it.
