One vidya to represent humanity. What is it?

Omikron: Soul Nomad

something involving killing aliens

Tetris, it has universal appeal and represents the human desire to create order out of chaos

Noithing, we should have gone dark forest mode, but its probably too late now

Futa Femboy House

The Wonderful 101

Honestly not a bad choice, and it's simple enough to be understandable for aliens

Tough choice. I'd say either Nier Gestalt or Factorio.

The Sims 1

Obviously.

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine

To be or not to be; that is the question. These disks I hold, are they a record of what will be, or only what may? For if, the future is indeed immutably foretold, then my demise is but moments from the confirmation. For I, I could not live if not the master of my fate. But if the future can be changed, if these disks record merely one path of all the myriad ways the cosmos might conform, then their power is infinite, and yet, still limited. For they could be used but once, and in that change be rendered fiction, forevermore. I could destroy them! But no. T'would be a coward's answer. I will know the truth instead. Then, it will be either them, or me, that face oblivion. Till then!

seconding factorio

Xcom 2.

Minecraft with the OG soundtrack

It's cool but there's 0% chance anybody discovers this right?

touhou

Yeah, it was already picked up and recycled by space trash collectors

ayys will probably discover it at one point and then come and visit earth to rape us

Sends them Rapelay game on a stick, heck, all of the illusion games.

Aliens think we are sick and messed up individuals and leave us the fuck alone.

Job done.

This is really the only answer. Everything else has something that might have a uniquely human sensibility to it that aliens might never be able to make sense of. Even something as simple as an arrow used on the Voyager plaque to point to Earth was looked back on as a catastrophic mistake for other intelligent life to understand.

Battletoads

Qwop

Civilization V

so a combination of Omikron: The Nomad Soul, and Soul Nomad vs The World Eaters?
kino

pretty much. Religion fags get to win this one, broken clock right twice a day or whatever
There's probably nothing out there

meet n fuck kingdom, steve

Syndicate (2012)

Chess duh

Undertale
There is a reason why MatPat gave the game to the Pope. It’s peak fiction.

No way. Considering how massive the universe really is, the idea that one insignificant speck, a single grain of sand on the beach, is the only one to have life is farcical.

he was so cool. sorta wished he at least returned in beast machines to save it

DOOM

we probably won't even be around when/if it's found

instead his spark was used to create a new line of dinobots, but none could match Raptor Jesus

Slave Tetris. Look it up.

Bonk's Adventure on TurboGrafx16

Leisure suit Larry

I’d say there’s definitely other life out there, but FTL travel is also a complete fantasy from sci-fi dreamers so making meaningful contact will be impossible, let alone leaving this solar system. We’re effectively alone in that regard.

What does this shit mean?
I can only tell bottom left is meant to be the solar system

Anime titty ninjas represent!

fuck I came here to say this

They're pictograms meant to show how to decode the messages inside.

Soviets once again wins another-space related contest

Based as always
Cuck landings are fake and never mattered

The problem isn't whether there is intelligent life out there or not, it's actually coming in contact with it.

Red dead redemption 2

OoT or SMB

dark souls
just to piss off the indian anti-souls poster

You don't think we will be able to make a 200 year trip at some point in the future?
It seems more likely than not

using order to destroy everything

Unless you want aliens to see us as threat to be eliminated, not sure it's the message you want to send.

Thief Gold

It's the Lawrence of Arabia of video games.

We can't even look after our home planet and people
Possible yeah, likely not

But I want exactly that?

Dark Forest meme

I just know you're a chinese bugman

Factorio

Ayys treat us as a hegemonizing swarm and delete on sight

nice going retard

You don't think we will be able to make a 200 year trip

Maybe in a generation ship kinda way but it's like sending people (and their children/grandchildren) to their demise unless you find actual habitable planets etc.

You will need to consider the various the damaging effects of low gravity, space radiation, heat, propulsion, food generation, etc, etc.

We might need to master several science branches completely (Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Mathematics/Engineering) to properly prepare for extended space travel

Pong or Neuromancer

alright then Minecraft, since it represents humanity's evolution from mere survivalists into artists
you start out just surviving and building a rudimentary hut, and then gradually start creating purely for aesthetic pleasure and art's sake
plus it represents how every creative action has an equally destructive one; you can't get a dirt block without first destroying one. the sacred and the propane

This, but chances are nothing will know of out existence for a few thousand years and then we will get hit with a near light speed weapon.

Concord.
an absolute disaster with a short lived history

Gold

ya blew it

In the future? Depends what sort of technology we crack.
I think the generation ship idea is probably not going to work. It hinges on a whole generation managing to telephone game the entire working knowledge of the ship at least once, probably twice.
If we crack longevity? Probably. 200 year trip is easy then. I think thats actually the most likely technology to open up space travel for us.
Hibernation? I think we'll manage it, but that assumes that whatever automation systems are good enough to maintain the ship for that long. And I don't see that happening before hibernation is done.

Just keep in mind, we have basically nothing we've ever built thats more complicated than stacking rocks last 200 years. Imagine just trying to engineer a button to last 200 years. Or carrying 25 spares for every button on the ship, not to mention anything more complicated than that.

they will, but it'll be so far into the future that all that's left of humanity will be gold or gold plated dildos

Dark Forest

Its a bullshit meme by a chinese fatalist.
If anyone out there wanted to efficiently destroy other life, there are thousands of better and more cost effective ways to do it. They'd just seed the whole galaxy with a hegemonizing swarm that turns every rocky dirtball into a cloud of dust until they want to use it. Or just RKV every planet using a sun they don't live around as a matter of course instead of listening for someone first.

The much more likely situation is that life is just very rare, one, maybe 2 in an entire galaxy.

Xenogears

Dark forest is so fucking retarded that I hope it's true. Some ayy out there committed self-defence apocalypse because of schizo anxiety

Anyone else get really fucking unnerved when you're actually confronted with the sheer size of this shit?
I'm not going "oh god save me niggerman" tier but the its just unsettling to know that signals travelling at fucking light speed for 50 years are barely a pixel across. Or that in all likelihood we will never leave this galaxy, and that there are trillions of others.
Or the fact there is a finite timeframe to even be able to see other galaxies because of expansion.

Shit puts me in a weird mood.

My policy would be "flickering lights", We send greetings and maybe a copy of our tech and internet as a gift, then never talk again so our relationship cannot even theoretically sour

Team Fortress 2
Please kill us so we can restart this gay earth

Hatred

Takeshi's Challenge

Pretty sweet dubs check pick.
However...

Minecraft

A game you need a wiki or word of mouth to actually figure out

Naw.
We want the most easily understood game possible.
Tetris is probably the best choice.

The problem is if anyone is able to create near light speed travel you could destroy an entire planet with a single ship by crashing it in to it.

If we discovered evidence of intelligent life 100 light years away and we had the technology the most logical conclusion would be create a ship/missile that travels at near light speed to crash in to the planet. In a 100 years there is no telling how they would develop or react if they knew we existed so from a pure numbers point of view wiping them out is better for our chances of survival.

Now do I agree with this personally? No but again if you are thinking cold hard calculations its the most logical choice and the frightening thing is they would realize that to.

baba is you

Mass effect

I thought it was about the desire to fill holes but yeah ok let's go with that

i dont understand how aliens are suppose to understand this shit? i dont

Trust me blud, they are aware of us.

We are not alone.

agreed

Rimworld :^)

I was waiting for this based post.

Super deepthroat with all alien xenogirls mods from undertow

Meme Run

Nier Automata

if you are thinking cold hard calculations its the most logical choice

Only if you have only that same retarded slice of options.
At minimum you're looking at an opportunity cost for wiping them out vs potential gains of cooperation or at least communication.
And a big part of the Dark Forest hypothesis assumes that RKVs are impossible to stop, which they aren't. DF assumes the "first shot" is always going to be the one that wins. As soon as you understand that an RKV can be countered by a simple dust cloud the entire theory collapses.
As well, from a purely selfish stand point, the shot itself makes you visible. As soon as you shoot, everyone else knows where you shot from and that someone out there is shooting. You can try and obfuscate you're position, but its not fool proof. Now you've invited retribution from third parties, who might not even be practicing DF themselves.

most logical choice

Fine I'll reply you fucking nigger

1: "No way to predict this" You can ask literally ANY living thing on earth if they want to kill an alien without provocation and they'll all say no, Especially the social ones

2: If you aren't With your logic, after the first planet-busting you'll be locked in and have to kill literally every civilization you notice or CIA subvert and keep them locked into lower tech levels. If that were true we're in kill range *Right now* and aren't dead, so that disproves it

3: If God or a greater civilization saw us doing this we'd be sent to an eternal torture dimension

Anything involving fucking aliens.

But musk said we're gonna be there real soon.

based

Song of the Caverns makes up for Thieves' Guild, Mage Towers is mid at worst.

sling our stellar shitpost right into some primitive planet and blow the whole thing to hell

space jannies of a higher power find out we did this and deem us a threat to galactic peace and stability

Two options.
Either the ayys are really rare, and so there's no one out there to meet close enough that it matters
Or all the ayys have moved on to some esoteric power source we don't know about and can't detect, so we think there aren't any.

Place your bets.

super kino. They'll laugh like we did with Gig's antics.

Have you considered the ones here DON'T want to talk to us, even when they probably can?

Aliens do not exist, However we have already have the means to send bacteria to planets and letting them evolve on their own, Long after we are gone. Just like mars did for us.

Super Mario 64

Duke nukem 3d

Anything with blacks/Mexicans on it. Why the fuck would we advertise whites?

We will be buttfucked by the entire alien galactic union.
