Started up a match with my friend. As soon as we begin, the one random we queued with just bolts off into a different direction and gets killed immediately. We fight a bunch of random NPCs ripped straight out of base ER for a couple boring minutes. And then we fought a Demi-Human queen while a bunch of Demi-humans that are colored gold for some reason ran around and attacked us. At that point we kind of just realized it was a lazy, uninspired, cash grab that’s only 60 FPS and we both refunded and left a negative review. Fuck FROM.

If you watch people play on twitch, you will find that most are total knuckleheads, that only know how to roll dodge and spam their two-handed R1. You should see how many people scoff at the idea of even using a shield. Just earlier today, I stumble across a stream where the streamer is playing the tanky bird class. He makes it to day 3. And then proceeds to keep getting rocked by the boss again and again for the simple fact that he doesn't lift his shield. Attacks that he could have easily blocked, and he just doesn't press the block button. It's honestly baffling.

I was going to play solo but apparently I accidentally started a regular matchmaking queue and didn't cancel it in time. I played the guardian and got matched with two Wylders.

We made it to the Nightlord and got like 60% through its healthbar. Then we regrettably all fell.
I feel like I held my own. I a lot of guardcounters and charge attacks. Frequently broke the bosses which all of us to gank the bosses for massive damage. I only ever died thrice, including the final death. And whenever my allies fell I was quick to revive them. Be it through pokes through my shield or with my ult.

The way it works is its a race, and if you get randos that dont play optimally or focus right things you will be underpowered

Solo is straight up not viable, since from what I can tell theres barely any scaling and things just take 5x longer if youre alone

I feel like the revive threshold needs to be a little lower. When you're at 3bar it takes fucking ages to revive and you can lose it all almost instantly if you have to step away from the bodies for a second.

After our third bumrushed an evergaol almost as soon as we got in and died over and over until disconnecting, my friend and I decided to just keep playing and see how it went with just the two of us. I play a good bit of team extraction/co-op mission games. This is one of the worst ones I've seen yet. This game needed a beta...with a lot of players not play testers. Fromsoft drones will defend it cause that's what they live for it. Its dogshit.

those are insane on like half the characters anon-kun. moving while casting spells? that's walking. moving with executor's dumbass skill sword? walking. movement during all sorts of skills/weapon arts? walking. you can also just walk on your own. the ony one i've found so far is founding rain of stars but it does ridiculous poise damage and appears on the boss instead of me if the boss is close enough. on half the cast they are entirely free casts of decently strong spells every 20 seconds or so
