that being said if youre paying for an online subscription anyway, having a free rom collection to browse is a nice addition to have. the expansion pack is where I draw the line. fuck off Im not paying extra money when 100x superior emulation is available for free.

I'd be happy with the expansion pass if they put a dlc expansion on there more often. Even if it was just one $20 DLC a year that would pretty much be perfect. Even if it wasn't always an expansion I'd use like the AC Happy Home one (even though I did end up coming around to that one eventually)

I wish Nintendo advertised their NSO game trials more. There's been multiple games that I got a lot of enjoyment out of for a free weekend, but a lot of the time I don't even realize they are going on.

Honestly I still hate NSO on principle, but it's kind of hilarious how stupidly inexpensive it is. With so many other subscription services, even paying for the expansion to get N64 or Gamecube games is the price of like one AA game a year, or one AAA game a year for a family sub. I have to wonder why Nintendo can make it so cheap.

they banned dolphin from being listed on steam but any retard with 2 brain cells can still install on any pc/deck/android/chinkheld etc

they can rip off the real emu devs for their source code and the roms were already made and costs zero dollars to reproduce. I agree that its really not a bad deal at all, i just prefer having way more emulator features/settings and unlimited rom selection on my pc/phone.

It was removed from Steam not the steamdeck because Nintendo threatened to sue due to that version using proprietary code that Nintendo had the rights to. You can still get dolphin onto the steam deck just not through the official steam store.
