I've never found any personality test online that has accurately described myself or my few close friends. There's always some degree of glaring flaw in the generalization that makes it not fit. You could of course argue that it'd be nonsense to make categories that need to 100% match you, and that's correct, but it still seems nothing ever hits the mark that accurately. The fewer types you have the more generalizations you get and the more people will exist that don't conform to any of the provided types very well. 100 might be an exaggeration but it's definitely not as few as 16, that much I know.
Plus, at the end of the day the only way any of these personality typing systems work is by giving people some sort of vague description of themselves and then have them conform to the rest subconsciously as a self fulfilling prophecy. The label makes the man, not as it should be, the other way around

Yes extraverted people have introversion as well, mostly "off" or passive, or subconscious if we want to be accurate. They can fall into it at times but generally will not be comfortable with it, hence might want to suppress it with external noise. Introverts do it the opposite way around.

In a nutshell, it's the idea of type differences being so naturally and fundamentally irreconciliabile as one attitude/function has to exclude its opposite, either willingly or not. There is a bit of a personal historical context behind the book:
It was written not too long after the break up between Jung and Freud. He noted that event was the main inspiration, eventually culminating in coming up with a theory that Jung would be an introverted thinking type and Freud's psychology was an example of extraverted thinking. Except he apparently didn't mean Freud himself is the type as he eventually says they were both introverts. No idea if he changed his mind or didn't make himself clear initially, but the "official" typing given by Jung for Freud was introverted feeling instead.

Jung's work is very... exploratory. It's very much not based in science, but instead an optimistic and perhaps supernatural approach to the human brain. It's a great basis for further study, but not one for teaching academically. While yes, a lot of the shit they do teach is crackpot territory that would make Freud blush, Jung's work doesn't exactly open itself up to being called a proper science. It's definitely a must-read for majors though.

I'm not saying it should die in obscurity, but you don't bother teaching statistics to architects when trigonometry would be far more practical.

Personally for PT I don't think the grouping was the objective as much as trying to make a point on dynamics that aren't fully explored, but should be definitely considered when dealing with individuals both on a personal and a therapeutic level.

Fair, unfortunately it's already on-topic even by just bringing up the modern definitions of extraverts and introverts. They look nothing like the original ideas, or rather they seem to confuse cause and effect(e.g. being more prone to frequent social interaction is a symptom, not a defining trait of extraversion, it can show in other, more abstract ways and you might mistake them as introverts).

Same, I was also hooked by functions other than believing there was more to the typical extravert/introvert dichotomy.
What I eventually found out is that all these debates happen because types were supposed to be very modular, Jung insisted that what he gave us were only exaggerated portraits to get his point across, but in reality you will find more variation depending on how their functions are developed and how the person chooses to interact with them in the first place. The latter shouldn't be underestimated especially, because even if somebody has very developed thinking for instance there might be circumstances making them act like a completely different type through his inferior functions.
