it's everything i've wanted in an incremental video game

Hard mode is games that made you feel like that the entire game, not just at the end.

Earthbound

"And thank you, the player"

Games I played during my childhood.
No, wait, I've also played games very later on that gave me this feeling, like sh2 with the leave ending.

I'm an adult man. Anytime I play something I feel like I'm wasting time and not being productive

Vanilla Skyrim

damn straight, get back to work NOW

When i uninstall a gacha after having played it daily for more than 1 year

Katamari

using sexlab instead of Ostim in the big 25

Animal Crossing

Unironically, Sonic R. Playing this game made me feel like a kid again. I can't believe people said this was a bad game. It's really not - as long as you don't care about it not being a "real" racing game. Just play it like a platformer and take yourself back in time, to another world.
also this

It's crazy how it kinda feels like a weight off your shoulders. I enjoyed the gachas I played, but I can't deny quitting them felt good.

The Witness

Always takes me back to being young

Because it adds a human touch/connection, even if fake, that makes you feel like the game was made by a person for another person to enjoy.

I haven't lewded skyrim in years (becuase I haven't played in years)
How is Ostim better? Less robotic animations?

MML's town was just charming and fun to be in.
Honourable mention to DQ games in general.

talking about the vidya instead of playing it

For me it's the Xenoblade series.

Dark Cloud 2

WEGs after you finish them, but there's also that depression after you realize you don't have any more game to play.
