I'm not an expert but I think GNOME is the software thats built into certain linux distros to handle the desktop experience and I know at the very least mint (which is ubuntu based) uses GNOME.

To remove the Pride flag or other similar content from the Windows search bar, you can disable the "Show search highlights" feature in your taskbar settings. Alternatively, you can disable the "News and interests" feature completely by turning it off in the taskbar settings.
