Did you like it?

7/10

It was mid

Didn't play because it looks like shit as an RPG

solid 8.5/10 after all the updates and improvements. Loved it

it was okay.

I still haven't finished it. Is the DLC worth playing?

Its alright. The open world feels absolutely dead and only has nice aesthetics. The metro was a huge improvement for interactivity and actually immersing yourself in the world. For some reason I played it like 20 times (maybe autism?)

Also, play it on VERY HARD. Thats the only difficulty that actually makes you plan your approach and use the games mechanics

could use more panam/10

it has states, crafting, improvements in crafting, implants to play the way you want and be whatever "class" you choose. You can hack enemies to debuff, do dmg, or cause them to freak out (stun, run in fear, or attack each other). And everything you can do to enemies they can do to you. When you infultrate a building you have multiple ways to approach the enemy (blast through the front door, find a way around back, sneak in through a window or hidden entryway, you choose.

I did, but I can't roll back the update to before 2.0 so I stopped playing.

Did it before the update 2.0 or whatever it's called, and did not play the DLC.
It is worth it?

I like dit overall, good atmosphere, serviceable shooting, good story.
The open-world serves no purposes though.

Female V's voice actress was so much better than male V it's insane. And I don't understand why this board hates her so much.

If the whole game was just the DLC's main storyline + the base game's major sidequests, it would be a 10/10 game. The fake prologue, the main story quests (presentation aside) and the low-quality sidequests really drags it down, especially if you replay it to try a different build.
At least they added a "go straight to the DLC" button so you can skip most of the boring shit.

Awesome game, want more.
Mods are cool, hope Orion doesn't suck/I'm around to play it

Liked the game, but the open world was completely fucking pointless and mostly empty. It was only truly immersive when it was night time and/or raining.
Thing I despised the most was the collection of edgy downer endings. Why even have so many endings if they all end with you dead?

I give it props for having Keanu Reeves play an utterly unlikable and irredeemable bastard.

It's great, I wish it got another DLC because Phantom Liberty really upped the production value and had better side content

DLC worth it

Absofuckinglutely.

Hell yes I like it. Even planning my next run right now. Going to be Stealth w/netrunning, but no offensive quickhacks.

Played and finished it for the first time this month. It was a comprehensive play with all gigs and endings. Took me around 120 hours to complete.
The game was very good, although the trans-goofy aesthetic was a bit tiresome. Tried the blade runner modpack but unfortunately that made the game crash.
Used most of the time a cookie cutter stealth netrunner build with overclock. It was kind of fine for an RPG but nothing spectacular. Plus smart SMG with multiple targetting was OP as hell, along with the few quickhack combos. But around reaching Tier 5, like 30 or 40 hours into the game, I had seen all it had to offer me in terms of character development, with the exception of iconic weapons.
All the part arsing around the map, killing the cyberpsychosis victims at the start, doing the gigs, the NCPD situations, the side yellow quests, getting vehicles to El Capitan, car racing... was the most fun part. The final stretch with the main storyline became too tiresome and kind of wished the game would end already.
9/10

DLC

Yes, the whole story about SonMi is pretty good. Reed is a chad even if also a simp for SonMi. Dogtown is an interesting zone. Though I wish it would bring more in terms of combat and items, beyond a few new iconic weapons and the Relic skills.

We were supposed to get a Badlands DLC in where we would fight on behalf of the Aldecaldos against the Raffen Shiv but that was canceled after the disastrous launch.

Yeah, I agree. It's night and day. Cherami Leigh is just a far better VO than Gavin Drea. Male V's actor was trying too hard to sound like Solid Snake whereas female V's gravely voice came out naturally.

no, it's an empty husk

It was good for what it was. It was not what was promised and was nowhere close. Forget the shallow "date sim" with 1 waifu for each orientation, where the fuck are my 6 branching paths for each quest that all tie and shift the overall narrative? HMMMMMMMMMMMMM?

Playing as a GIRL

I seriously hope you guys don't do this.

Well, 2 waifus per game path if you mod it to make Judy and Panam bisexual.

Fuck off. Go choke to death on the next dick you suck.

That seems like more your specialty, since you like pretending to be a girl, faggot.

I will never give cdpr another cent

Stop projecting, homo.

There are people on this board who play as female characters when given the option

How gay can you be? Big yikes, as the kids would say.

Bloated open world console slop. Has some good moments of atmosphere but few and far between.

I played as both. I did the Phantom Liberty/secret/"cure" ending on male V and The Star ending on Fem V. I liked both but female V has waaaaay more range and so I liked her more.
Panam is definitely hotter than Judy, though. Even if her personality is insufferable dogshit. Both are great love interests.

Gravely voice

She sounds like she smokes two packs of cigarettes a day bro.

A lot, and with all the mods it's the only game where you can make a true hd bitch with all kind of clothes

had better side content

Did it?
What do you mean

No anon, I play as futa.

Most of the women in 2077 were already hideous, but with CDPR getting absorbed by California the women in Orion probably won't even look like women now.

No she doesn't. She not voiced by Shohreh Aghdashloo.

I could never get into playing Male V because he just looks like a fucking ogre with football linebacker shoulders. I think it's just a CDPR thing, because River and Reed look similar.

And most of the clothes look better on FemV anyway.

What's the excuse you troons use to play a female in Cyberpunk 2077?

At least the closeted troons in Skyrim have functioning 3rd person and physics mod so they can ACTUALLY stare at their fat asses as they walk.

What's your excuse in this FPS only game?

It's bretty good now years of patches later. Not great or amazing but a decent experience that there aren't many similar competitors for.

My anger over CDPRs lying and incompetence has subsided but I definitely won't be buying their next game after all that.

Definitely bloated. I swear half the fucking map serves zero purpose. Like I don't think a single mission or anything utilizes the oil fields or the FUCK huge protein farms.

It was phenomenal. Not just the DLC but the base game as a whole

Slop that killed the studio and the turst people had in them. The vets example from Hero to Zero.

No but that is just me not liking the setting
Idk how to have fun in a cyberpunk setting, I just find it depressing as fuck

the player is one class. it needed classes and heist mechanics like gta5

side jobs are more fleshed out and gigs are basically side quests now instead of just "clear out this warehouse"

Most of the PL gigs are on the levels of base game side jobs
