Am I the only one who can't help but feel the game is unfinished? Act 3 being just a short last fight that you are probably over-leveled for, after a multi-hour psuedo-cutscene...
Am I the only one who forgot the letter alicia gives you literally describes a third ending?
The weird little final battle where you get the "obviously bad" ending and the "obviously good" ending feels like they were meant to be like how other jrpgs handle it, where if you rush the final boss you get the bad ending, if you take the time to do the quests right, you get the good ending, and then if you do tons of work and complete everything you get the secret gold ending.
Which would make sense because the endings are reallly:
Bad Ending: you choose to die in the fake world
good ending: you lose the fake world but come to terms with the real world
And the hypothetical "gold" ending: you save the fake world AND come to terms with the real world.
Not to mention one of the optional side events in Act 3 is killing Clea, which feels like that should be a super important story event, especially since it's after the turbo boss room.
Ican't help but feel they just ran out of time.
