My least favorite thing about Minecraft is that there aren't that many underground areas filled with lava. I always envisioned that around deepslate territory you'd be in constant danger of getting burnt to a crisp while mining. I also think it's really strange that blocks don't get more unstable the further you descend. I know there are mods for both of these things but my point still stands.
