Genuinely don't understand people who think this. You can scrape by making a crafting item at level 1 with just good tools on you + buddies and jump from 1 to 50 in a single craft. Crafting jobs xp is exponential based on the recommended skill to craft an item. It's insanely slow to level it through other means.

With XP gear you get fucking 600k xp a craft.

Right after I finished the story I made the royal maker set as a sort of intermediate jump and rolled every piece with item drop rate, it has a body and leg piece so it's not cucked with the single coat that can only roll 5%. But you can throw together literally anything and save the min-maxing for later. Also paladins can have an extra 20% on their shields.

Remaking your highest level gear gives a lot of exp without wasting precious end game materials.

Treasure grove is short-term and targetable, Ginormosia is long-term and skips straight to BiS for some equipment. Once you're done with that, there's nothing else to grind stat wise other than strangeling buffs.
