What were they thinking really? No PVP, reused enemies/bosses, set characters instead of builds, all around bad game design that will get stale really fast.
Elden Ring was fine. This overpriced garbage has bad multiplayer and introduced elements that they didn't bother to put effort into. I've seen coomer mods with more content than this.

duskbloods will be received similarly. people do not want fromsoft making multiplayer focused games. duskbloods being pvp focused will probably be received even worse.
This had virtually overhead so it's printing money, but this is undeniably a huge hit to From's reputation. Even fanboys are stuck just saying "well it's fun with friends at least" or "what do you expect for only $40". Imagine going from absolute titans dropping an unprecedented success like Elden Ring to this garbage in the span of a few years. From unironically has fallen.

Golden Week sales are real but let’s not act like they’re generous. Sure, some discounts show up, but it’s always the same recycled roster with stingy ass percentages. “On sale” doesn’t mean shit when the price drops from $59.99 to $47.99 for a 2016 game. Meanwhile Capcom drops 80% off RE games like it’s Halloween candy. Nintendo and Atlus are still acting like digital scarcity is real.
