Primehack lets you use dual stick controls. You can also just emulate a Wiimote and use mouse with it. or just use a real wiimote

Likewise, and for the longest time I didn't travel enough to justify the purchase. However, after getting a refurbished deck this year it's basically all I play. The track pads and customizable controls make it easy and great to play old and new PC games.
I play multiplayer and graphically demanding games (which generally I just want a big picture of) on my PC and everything else on my deck

So does nearly every deckie. It's an older games machine.

How's the performance?

Has anyone else had their deck randomly crash in game (Going back to desktop/big picture).

I pirate everything and it's only happened in the last few days. It did it x3 times with FF7Rebirth near the end once the map fully opened up and then last night it oddly did it with an old 2D fighting game.

It also wouldn't record properly yesterday either too. It recorded 1 minute of footage then froze but still played the other 16minute audio.
I had to hard boot and retry doing this 14 times till it actually recorded properly.

I've heard the latest SteamOS update fucked up a few features such as fan cooling etc. Is anyone else having issues recently?

No, but I've learned if I have an issue it has always been decky loader or one of its plugins, especially after system updates.

I uninstalled decky loader once steam record became a main feature.

I've had zero problems till just recently.

Ive also started getting a battery that stays at 90% even when charging. I read up that this is normal and apparently the battery needs to discharge the excess 10 every once in awhile and that if it does that and hard reboots it should start charging again. I did it once and it worked but its happening again.

Hence why I'm asking if anyone else is having issues because this only started for me after the last update

Huh, really? The only issues I've had seems to be some freak GOG thing with games that don't boot directly to the main game not working

Has happened to me several times, one of which caused consistent crashing. Makes sense, it's all community made and basically a hack and so system updates can mess with it in unintended ways.

Guess I could try to run it without it to see if there's anything different, I think I only really used it for boot videos and to tweak the menu screens

I still highly recommend it and two plugins don't pose much risk. I just figured one of the plugins after the system update may've been that anon's problem.

I've been playing this game called Mogeko Castle on my deck.

It's alright, I mainly use it for dailies / weeklies and there it's way better than on my phone. Sometimes I get frame drops in the overworld though. I can't tell you the exact stats as I never check them for my deck games
