Wait until the enemy flashes before thinking about doing anything to avoid it, then a bit after your character will get a flash as well and that's what you time it to. It might be easier to just hold forward + dodge as well when you do the input, at least it feels better mentally. The blue one is a little tricky at first, but you do get the hang of it quickly and you'll soon be doing it without even noticing the flashes. The Purple Parries are always annoying though.

I've literally done deathless playthroughs of Sekiro. I have no issue with my personal reactions. The issue is the game and how fucking poorly telegraphed enemy attacks are because funnily enough you can't just slap Final Fantasy enemies into an action RPG and expect it to function properly.

The delays and short locked animations are part of the combat by design, its done so that you don't end up with a situation like most action games where the player can just haphazardly spam dodge roll without thinking. Eventually you will get a lot of options that circumvent it somewhat, but you do still have to adapt to the dodges and parries having a delay after the input.
The Nier DLC is mostly outfits. Based on the trailer, the NIKKE DLC has outfits, at least one boss fight and a mini-game mode.

The demo does not have all the skill trees or skills though. Each special skill in the demo has an upgraded version you unlock later, and you unlock two other skill trees later on + drone upgrades. Also that's retarded.

That is correct, most games don't drastically change their gameplay by the end, and the ones that do typically show you 70-90% of their mechanics very early on. If you play Dark Souls the endgame weapons and builds are mechanically almost identical to when you started with a broken sword.

One big weakness with the stellar blade approach for making an attractive female character is that people have different tastes.
Some people obviously like eve and pay 70$ (or 90$ for the complete edition) while others are very much unwilling to do so.
The code-vein approach of simply providing a character editor is better since it allows people to actually play as what they find appealing to look at instead of the developer trying to choose for them.
There will take a lot of modding to turn stellar blade into a game that is actually good. I would like to play as some female character i actually find appealing to look at.
Skipping the cutscenes should be easy, you could simply load a save-file from someone to play NG+ instead.

While I like the idea of modding, I don't think it fits this. There's no mods that will bring about anything but outfit and perhaps physics changes. Nude mods will be plenty perhaps, but I'll be honest, I see no point to a nude mod when there's no sex. I always found it weird to play any normal game and apply a nude mod to it when there's thousands of actual sex games out there for everyone.

It was more that WW3 turned civilians against robots after all the killer robo war crimes shit, but human population and livable space was reduced so much there was a desperate need for robo labor in every sector, including civilian. I think the calculus is different for KT. They're a rather big company now and do a lot of outsourcing work for other companies and work with other people's IPs. They can't have a branch of their business go too hard on fanservice like Shift Up does. It might make the rest of KT look bad.
