The point is, WoW made the mistake of increasing the difficulty of endgame content into infinity, and now they have to make an "accessibility" feature to solve the problem they created. It's to let you focus on le ever increasing difficult mechanics without having to focus on your rotation so you can learn the encounter.

i don't play the game currently (i quit in legion) so maybe i'm wrong but in legion you would definitely not be able to push keys with that one button rotation thing, had it existed then. unless i am completely misunderstanding it, the one button rotation thing will probably just use your abilities in the correct rotation on cooldown, and high key mythic dungeons were all about deliberately holding cooldowns for pre-planned uses on certain pulls.

also there was a point in wow history where there was a popular illegal hack/mod type thing that would literally do your rotation for you perfectly, without any penalty like the implementation blizzard is proposing with the one button thing. blizzard took out everyone who used it in a massive banwave and not surprisingly it didn't effect high-end guilds.
blizzard was literally a frat house back then. their food court at the office served beer all day. supposedly a couple senior staff would just be wasted all day every day. i knew a few people who worked there.

what irks me the most about nu-wow are the gear resets with every new raid tier and having different raid tiers. mythic, lfr and normal should be deleted. heroic raids are enough.

The most difficult part about WoW raiding is the FPS dropping because of 20 million particle effects and boss abilities all overlapping together. It actually gets miserable during the final bosses of each raid tier specifically because there's just so much shit going on.
