So what playstyle have you settled into?

So what playstyle have you settled into?

I'm doing like a conjuration + archery type thing. Basically I summon something that can tank shit for me while I support it with arrows and use the rest of my mana for heals/resummoning. Seems to work great, even against Xivilai and Daedroths (summoning a Daedroth of your own evens out the odds real quick).

Depends, how are the coom mods?

Battlemage, always
Heavy armor and magic out the ass

I can't tell if you're in a ruined building or just a Bethesda glitch

Silent archer

It's fairly obvious which one, tranny.

can you still do unarmed with a shield equipped?

In the original game I played a witchunter build similar to yours.
Now a battlemage, conjuration works really well with a shield and heavy armor too, if they're attacking you for example you can block almost everything with a shield meanwhile your summon starts pounding their ass, IF they start attacking the summon you can go with elemental weakness stacking(especially fun if you have an enchanted sword like chillrend) and deleting their hp.
Best part? You can even heal and buff your minion with restoration spells so they never die during your spell duration. And if you're playing melee you can support your summons much easier.

I don't know much about UE5 but it shouldn't be impossible right?

it's not at all, there are literally already mods being made for it. people just want a reason to doompost.

it's not that bad. It's about as good as the diablo 2 remake, maybe slightly worse. But not as good as the re2 and aoe2 remakes which maintained the SOVL 100%. Just compare the atronachs from the OG with the one in the remake. Or the troll. The armors, etc. At least the OG soundtrack is still there which is honestly very surprising considering the

allegations

made by that demented troon

I'll try it out when I get back on.

There is a Dark Brotherhood quest where you have to kill an expert hand-to-hand Khajit and I hand-to-handed him too. Shit was fun. Felt like a real brawl. Just thought I'd mention it.

Paladin all day every day

all melee weapons, heavy armor, block, destruction, personality and restoration

greathammer/odachi and mace/katana

I uninstalled it, left a negative review, and refunded it. People can't even get 60 fps on a 5090, and taking it to the lowest settings to the point that it looks worse than the original doesn't get me 40 fps on my 9070xt.

Stop posting fucking advertisements, and fix your godamm game pajeet.

conjuration works really well with a shield and heavy armor too, if they're attacking you for example you can block almost everything with a shield meanwhile your summon starts pounding their ass

yup lol that's what I do once I get desperate. Just summon a daedroth and shield up and throw up heals on myself in between attacks. The daedroth seems to be real strong in this remaster. Don't remember if they were always this tough.

Also I think it's just fun to see your own crocodile monster killing shit.... so fuckin epic

just play at 30 fps, retard. You got meme'd into believing 60 fps is some sort of benchmark that matters.

1. It fucking drops bellow 30 FPS, you get 53 walking around on the best hardware people can get their hands on without spending more than 5k on a cpu and 10k on a gpu.

2. 30 FPS with frame drops is unplayable, and on a 9070xt, or any other card that's actually readily available anywhere on the planet you can barely get highs of 40 with lows of fucking 0

adm.jpg - 332x385, 91.33K

It's all Gamebryo shit in the background, still using .esp patches with a patchlist.txt
A lot of the more daring mods are still a "proof of concept" stage, but it's getting there.
People already run a script extender version, after all.

Punching.
It's so fast now.

How are people getting such low FPS?
-t constant 60fps with limiter on 1440p high/ultra mix and XeSS ultra quality+
12900K/RX6800

Are nvidia's drivers really THAT bad now? Steve was right.

Just compare the atronachs from the OG with the one in the remake

They look fine? Or rather some of the conjuration minions are way better than the originals like the spider daedra

noice.jpg - 1920x1080, 1.17M

I installed the engine.ini fix and it works just fine.
Getting a little stutter when I just enter a crowded area, but it's nice and smooth overall without any of that shitty dithering and ghosting.
There is still some ghosting over the foliage, but it's far from those examples people post.

Just. play. at. 30. retard. Your PC can do it.

Noooooo it as to be le 60 nooooo that's what we all agreeeeeed

Spider Daedra are the real GOATs of the Elder Scrolls universe. Sweet silky Arachnussy.

I was doing conjuration and poisons but after I went to Kvatch at level 23 and had to fight a dozen Xivilai I just dropped the difficulty all the way down and am just no brain smashing everything. I went from having fun to having none, I forgot just how bad the vanilla level scaling truly is.

I haven't had any ghosting on XeSS but FSR NativeAA was awful for it, the performance wasn't as good and it didn't look as good as XeSS UQ+
I should probably add I'm using Software RT Lumen at high, hardware rt is off - that's probably what's killing performance for DF, but they're incompetent and get a hate boner for any game they don't get thousands of dollars of free swag for.

What was wrong with your build?

yeah it's not bad, it isn't a mockery of the OG, but it still looks safe, generic. Makes me think all 3d fags nowadays follow the same tutorial or course kek

but it deserves recognition because this attempt is better than say re3, warcraft 3, etc. and if this game doesn't sell then these companies will just think

a shitty remake is better than nothing and it's not worth trying harder

Oh yeah Lumen is shit.
It's funny how CryEngine's version of the thing runs silky smooth in KCD2

I maintain 50+ at 1920x1080 with everything on Ultra with my 3070ti aside from the acceleration options only supported by the later cards, people who bought 40X0s and 50X0s got scammed even harder than me I guess.

Speedmage with daggers, pretty fun so far

30 is hard on the eyes when you're so used to 60+. We aren't consolefaggots (like you).

Maybe there's something wrong with your eyes if they don't adjust to it after a couple minutes.

I would say that Spider Daedra is on par or maybe even better than the OG.

Flame Atronachs look the same.

I prefer the OG Storm Atronachs just because they seemed to be more "crumbly" when they died in the original.

Even 60 can be hard on the eyes, there is a reason PC CRTs regularly ran at 72/85/100hz instead of 60.

I only had the basic weakness spells, 25% magicka weakness, 25% fire weakness, 25% poison weakness. I don't use fast travel and all I did was Vilverin, one or two quests in the Imperial City, then I went to Skingrad and Anvil to do their mage guild quests since they are so far away and they have lots of flax to pick on the way to make magicka potions, as I also took the Atronach sign. Everything was going well but you level so quickly that by the time I had gone through those two cities and done the quests I was already so high of a level that I just couldn't do anything anymore. I wont use Frostcrag and I can't make spells until Aracne University and that takes a long time to unlock with zero fast travel allowed for any reason.

I am trying to use the 'less appreciated' skills in these games and they're actually a lot more viable than most think. Calm is a great way to let stamina regen during fights and the Speechcraft/Disposition minigame has a lot of really excellent hidden interactions. I made best friends with someone and they let me sleep in their house as a vampire on my last character.

By Azura, the Altmer have never looked so godforsakenly hideous. Fantastic.
