Raceist Thread

This genre never be the same, Never feel this way again

I like grip

I am replaying burnout 3 and I forgot how annoying it is to get gold medals on crash mode.

still no golden age NFS like game where you take your ratted out 57 Bel Air to race against Chicano gangsters in 50's LA

Just like that rob zombie song!

Sometimes just getting the 4X score multiplier is enough if you can wreck enough vehicles and objects.

My favorite racing games are

midnightclub 3 and l.a remix
burnout paradise
crash team racing
187: ride or die
motorstorm 1
need for speed most wanted

exactly
the only game that sort of scratches this itch is Mafia 2

for me
its the Nissan Skyline R34
the best vidya racecar

the smooth transition between drift and not drift

Man I really miss that. Modern games are binary, you're either sliding or not, but old stuff, no matter how realistic, still somehow got that transitionary four-wheel drift state. It can be the fastest way to turn or the slowest but it is possible.
Behead everyone who implements explicit brake to drift.

But burnout is a brake to drift game

You will still naturally transition to drift if you don't brake in it. In modern games you'll more often than not just understeer like an Audi.

I liked Mafia 2s driving physics very much.

i miss trackmania

I'm not always racist but when I am I ensure ching chong ping pong is first.

wheel

Amateur hour I says.

have you played 2048

I'm not a fucking racist

You spelled roll cage wrong

img.jpg - 650x650, 110.7K

TXR 2025 is really fun :)

I feel like I'm the only person in the world who played Konami Whiteout.

Why is Paradise the most soulless Burnout?

Thanks
No is 2048 the one on the Vita? There a rom for that one?

Why did this genre die?
BallisticNG is a great wipeout-like, if you get it check out the Anon Babble thread they have a pastebin with the download for tons of custom tracks
this was on PS1 too right? Loved it
I think I played it at a friend's house once at the time, guy was obsessed with snowmobiles (still is)
I liked its open world aspect tbqh

Why did this genre die?

Zoomers don't drive

Why did this genre die?

Trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator as always.

I don't drive either but I still love racing games

You lads have any hope for this game? Comes out in a couple of weeks.

1000001760.jpg - 2560x1440, 1.99M

I haven't played grip but I did play rollcage demo in 1999. The grip video made me think was a ripoff not knowing it was made by the same guy. I just educated myself on it and can see how different players would prefer grip.

legit played Forza horizion 4 and it felt like i was in a real estate commercial.

I hate car games, but the only one I loved was Burnout Revenge.
From the UI, that looks like a Burnout game too.

Any games like this for PC? Aside for Burnout Paradise, which I didn't truly like.

Gameplay looks cool and it can be second coming of kaido racer

huWHY is every racing game open world now? Why don't people want unique handmade tracks, what's the appeal of endless tracks that all look the flipping same

HP2010

main song is by Jared "send dead rats and used condoms to my castmates" Leto's shitty band

The whole soundtrack is pretty shit overall tbqfh

Disclaimer (it's a modern world)

kek, based

Why wouldn't you want to create your own handmade track ? FH allows you to do it.

I downloaded F1-22 and it was exactly like this. WELCOME TO THE FORMULA ONE LIFESTYLE! YOU'RE THE CREME OF THE CROP. NOW PICK WHICH HYPERCAR YOU WANT TO BUY AND SHOW OFF IN YOUR CRIB YO

Because it'll feel exactly like every other track in the game. It feels like every FH has 3-5 track "biomes" and just randomly generates the layouts within those, making it feel like you're playing the same thing over and over again forever.

Grip plays nothing like like Rollcage sadly, the car design is the same and that's about it.

no, i tried the demo

burnout1.webm - 1280x720, 1.33M

Too fast.

When I was young the game I played the most was gran turismo 3. Nothing else had the feeling of doom when you lap at 1st place for 50 minutes and then spin out/crash at the end.

For me it was Crash Team Racing
Countless hours, those were the days.

Too fast.

no such thing

Burnout4.webm - 1280x720, 1.91M

vrooming in hot pursuit 2010 feels so good - the overdramatic engine noises, music and radio chatter makes even the ai races feel so intense

In the actual pursuit races if you use the bonnet cam an activate the turbo (the limited use one) it feels like the scene from redline.

honestly I didn't like burnout paradise, the color correction and post effects make it a visual mess, I crashed so many times because I just couldn't see shit
the UI also blocks your view a lot

It's because the AI is designed to rubberband hard until the last km or so. You can't gain a significant lead even if your driving is flawless.

I completed every offline challenge on PS3 and what made me tilt the most were the road time records since half of my fails were because I crashed against a car I couldn't have possibly seen in time to dodge it

Hot Pursuit 2010's sound design is probably its strongest quality. They made the engine sounds ridiculously loud and meaty and you can even hear fairly realistic turbo whines in some cars. The races where you're in a thunderstorm are really atmospheric and cool.

No is 2048 the one on the Vita? There a rom for that one?

yes, for me it's the best wipeout post-pulse
you can emulate it with vita3k or play on ps4

you kids will call me a boomer but this is unironically the best racing game of all time, to this day no game has police chases as good as Most Wanted 2005, GTA police chases don't even come close.

same car

looks different in every image

literally how?

same car

forza is a racecar with gtr looking shell

I could never get into this game because it always felt like I'm always driving on ice

NFS most wanted had you playing as a guy and a hot girl flirting with you

Forza Horizon 5 has they/them pronoun options

wr have fallen so far and lost so much it is genuinely depressing

For me its carbon but that's first game bias

So the Opel Speedster/Vauxhall VX220 are available in HP2. I noticed that the tail lights on both are different and chalked it up to a model error at first, but apparently this is the case on the real car too. I can't seem to find any information on why this is and I can't recall any other car like this.

still no burnout 3 successor, with max speed, weaving in and out of traffic, and motorcycles

I wish GTA 6 was mafia era

Different artists, different polygon budgets, difference in base model used.

drift

no. dont care.

What about splashdown

Not as fun as jetboat supershamps 2.

Me on the left

It didn't go anywhere, you can still play it on modern hardware without the starforce bs

t. played it two weeks ago

multiracial group

Yes, they do.

oh my bad I just made a racing game thread

anyway I'm looking for a racing game that has:

a campaign or "story" mode

you start off as a shitty poorfag racer

you slowly work your way up to the big leagues

car customisation/unlocks would be nice

I find these campaigns incredibly comfy. any suggestions? another anon said GRID but didn't say which one

HEY HEY YOU YOU

That is essentially how all midnight club games work, but 3 would be most fitting.

Is EA ever making a REAL Most Wanted remake? People clearly want it, remember when shit became news everywhere just a few years ago when a VA said something dumb, or something like that?

Is EA ever making a REAL Most Wanted remake?

no, they're saving that for when money gets real tight

Shift 2 4.webm - 800x450, 3.92M

i also wouldnt trust Ghost games with making it

Shift 2 3.webm - 800x450, 2.92M

Criterion will never live that shit down, will they?

why should they? it's a banger and fits in

Too much needless grind desu. Later stages are a slog, you don't get any faster, opponents don't get any faster either (still as worthless as ever), but you get more races and more overly long pursuits.
And city design is shit, we joke about Forza FATrison but tuner-era NFS pioneered highway-wide roads (hiding them behind sidewalks and grass that aren't sidewalks and aren't grass)

girth.jpg - 1920x3240, 3.07M

black box dead

Criterion is a shell of a company, no one from the Burnout days left

Codemasters is stuck on the F1 license and will never EVER make a NFS game

EA put the franchise on hold because its all hands on deck to make sure the next BF isnt another collosal disaster

its never looked so dire NFS bros

FM just added Fujimi Kaido, you can find people to shoot the shift and drift the track at all hours of the day on the meetup servers

How much of a failure was Unbound anyway? I hope it did bad enough so they don't even consider doing something like that again.

I didn't like Burnout Paradise either. Yes it was really fucking ugly, but what killed it for me was the open world and that they brought back traffic checking from Revenge.
Both of those features made the game feel safe and boring instead of the break neck high speed terror fest of 3. Also the roads were really wide for no good reason.

For me, it's Pro Street.

It was constantly clowned on for the music so i hope that AT LEAST that changes to something more akin to golden era games like MW05

The thing is that if Unbound failed, they will just nuke the entire franchise rather than reinvent. And it is a big improvement over the previous 2015-based entries gameplay-wise, so even if they don't nuke it we'll likely see a detrimental effect on the next one.

People clearly want it

i dont want it. Street shitters racing SUCKS

proudly proclaiming he has dogshit taste

there's something wrong with you

I started the series with Underground 2 and for me Carbon is when it started to go downhill, but the canyon races were cool.

i remember reading a book a few years ago about the earliest days of racing, from the first motor clubs to the first endurance races in the 1890s. i honestly want a game that covers this era of pre-ww1 racing just because of how different it was. your car was pretty much guarenteed to break down on you so part of the race was just trying to fix it as you go, you'd have your engineer hanging off the side doing repairs on the car as its still driving and shit.

file.png - 839x525, 817.57K

not tuning up and mastering Nate Denver's GTO preset for Ryo showdown

You didn't beat the game. Practice mode has tuneup available, default setup is indeed a boat but you can make it drivable. It'll never be as fast as an aero-heavy car, but it's got enough juice in it to beat Nitrocide's own Nevada race day, nevermind Ryo.

Pretty new to this genre. What’s a good street racing game with arcade controls where I can drive fast? I don’t really know anything about cars so preferably with a lack of tuner autism

And it is a big improvement over the previous 2015-based entries gameplay-wise

still handles like a soapy, weightless brick

NFSMW is peak, tuning is basically just buy whatever best part you can afford, no need for min-max autism.

i wish blur were back

has anyone made an effort to make it online again as a project?

It at least handles. 2015 and whatever the other one was were mobile-tier "press button to drift" simulators.

yeah, now you turn and it drifts automatically
never been so insulted by a game, handles like shit, sounds like shit, looks like shit

Is the ps2 version decent?

You can say it's not the GC version. It's alright but I recommend playing it on PC/360 if you can. 360 is the best one if you want a vanilla experience.

why is this a question
there's a pc version available
if there's a pc port, every other version is almost always obsolete

im playing midnight club LA right now bros and its a super kino game except for that the opponents have weird ass fucking 0 - 100 acceleration on the harder difficulties so i have to get hundreds of feet ahead because otherwise a single turn or crash will lead to me losing and having to restart the race

What are the options for modern online racers? Newest Forza, newest GT, and what else?

And no, don't bother emulating it with Xenia. It's fucked.

It grinds my gears knowing that the game scales difficulty according to your car's class level most of the time. Other than that it's a fun game. I like freeway racing the most, especially when blasting my own music. The default soundtrack isn't horrible, but I prefer hard rock and heavy metal bands like 80s Motley Crue and Metallica. Call me basic but it's still good music despite the bands being well past their prime.

car is more well known for commiting vehicular manslaughter rather than its rivalry against Porsche in the American Le Mans series

Kino?

Of all NFS games, this one has the best grind progression.

How the fuck do I drive IRL bros it feels like there's too many rules and signs to check as if you're not already driving a massive hunk of metal that doesn't allow you to see around you well with a billion retards around you just waiting to jump in front of you

ngl it was kino

teenage women can do it, so can you

It has so many fucking good ideas
Shame about still going with the gay as fuck modern driving mechanics they've had for the last few games that they knew everybody hated and the dialogue

this one has the best grind progression.

2hour long handholding tutorial

lol, lmao

NFSMW has "grind" and it's godawful btw

Collecting bounties for slow as fuck pursuits

A checklist of milestones because fuck you

Racing makes 30% of late game

Progression is one of the worst things about this game. Actually I can barely think of anything that was good about this shit, it did fuck all better than Heat or 2015

worst fucking shortcut
my cars would constantly flip over onto their roof

And? the two are mutually exclusive.

There's nothing good about 2015
except graphics maybe

psst
pop into pause menu and max out the ride height before doing the jump

That's the point, if you get it right it's basically a hack, if you don't, lol and lmao

None of these are grind, you can get they all naturally just by playing the game, you literally never have to open the milestones menu.
Actually I would only consider "grind" the late game awful pursuit time milestones.

That makes it worse

it's the best shortcut in the game, I even think devs didn't left it intentionally, since it is restricted in most races
you go through it and basically you are +20s ahead for the rest of the race

the more you do it the more natural it becomes. Also always assume that every other driver is a drooling retard that will make the worst choices possible at the worst time

Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed

what the other anon said, it will feel natural after a while, even if it's a manual
it's like learning how to ride a bike

I feel like Prostreet gets unfairly shit on solely because it's not Underground 3/Most Wanted 2 (which is funny because Carbon is MW2 in all but name). The focus on more realistic physics and specific events takes some getting used to but it's still a decent game with a pretty good car selection.

unfairly shit

Driving is absolute garbage by all fucking metrics, there's a reason why nobody cared about the game

Maybe because Pro Street actually sucks. No one shits on the classic NFS or Hot Pursuit.

The physics in Prostreet suck shit. Every single car handles like a boat in wet concrete and the understeer is ridiculous.

Does anyone have any Split/Second webms? I feel like I'm the only person who loves this game it kicks ass.
Let me blow up the track again

My problem with ProStreet was the grind. The payouts for dominating race days are pathetic and it takes forever to get out of stock shitboxes and into actually half decent cars unless you rely on the prize cars from challenge days.

mcla is ass so don't upgrade your car too much or the AI goes insane with the rubberband

AI goes insane with the rubberband

dohohoho I can tell you never played it on release. The rubberbanding was much, much stronger.

HP2010

MW2012

Burnout Paradise

So Criterion just made the same game three times?

NFSMW

I had Razor literally cheat and take a shortcut through a wall once. I don't know if this was intended or just a bug. Also got him to crash and bug out once too (he just gave up lmao), I guess his AI is programmed differently

Got MX vs ATV Reflex on the week sale a couple of weeks ago, and it's pretty fun.
Are the modern MX vs ATV games worth getting though? They seem to be pretty polarizing.

How is the driving in prostreet? I just played carbon, I floor a 396 cubic inch muscle car in second gear and it accelerates like an economy car. It should spin the rear tires and try to send me into a wall.

I think Pro Street also gets majorly shat on because it's stupidly easy, because of a few poor and easily fixable decisions. Free repair markers and barely any penalties for entering races with damaged cars coupled with wallriding on tracks with walls and easy shortcuts on tracks without trivialize Grip, repair markers and pause restart trivialize Speed, Drift's scoring is fucked so it's trivial by default, and Drag is entirely "look at how much money I can spend on my car". Remove repair markers, force yourself to always enter races fully repaired and don't repeat any events or races, and suddenly the economy is kinda brutal, you will have to race cleaner, which means slower, which means not always finishing first (good thing that it's actually viable to not win every race to progress), which means less money, which means less upgrades, which means less winning, and so on. Consider all that, and suddenly Drag becomes the hardest mode because you're perpetually broke.
But also yes, it's a non-street racing NFS in a street racing era. They gave us something we didn't even know we wanted, and by the time we realised we wanted it it was too late.
Pro Street's physics are best in class. No other game gets the balance of sim and arcade as good as it.
...Huh. Someone who got filtered by PS's default economy. A game journalist pupa?

They are the lazy generation

This game is so fun, sadly it only has 15 minutes of content.

have you tried putting wider wheels on the cars? or tuning the steering ratio? or having a good racing line?

I emulated the complete version, upgrading from camaro to ninja bike was the most insane spike in difficulty I've seen. AI gained rocket boosters and overtook me on highways while I was going 200mph like I was standing still.

the whole game is an exercise in rubberbanding

Hot Pursuit has similar crash/takedown mechanics but it's not exactly the same. Most Wanted and Paradise are basically the same game though. It just depends on if you want Hot Wheels or real cars.

hire Burnout devs

they only know how to make Burnout

they just make more Burnout

Need for Speed MW remake? It's fucking Burnout

the world is Burnout

I wouldn't know since I never played any MX game past Untamed, but I recommend giving older offroad titles like ATV Offroad Fury and Quad Power Racing a shot if you haven't already played them.

I learned to stop complaining about rubberbanding once I disabled it with a mod. The game gets absolutely boring.

Yup and that is the nerfed behaviour. On launch even the starting tutorial races would have the a,i on your tail following you at less than a second behind. LA on release was tuned assuming most players were veterans of the series. For said veterans the difficulty was on the high side but not obscene. If you weren't experienced with the series though it was basically impossible to beat so the first patch nerfed the a.i a bit.

Wipeout HD had a similar issue with the time trials - they were a simple beat the listed time, pass or fail. Turns out new players weren't good enough to beat a lot of the times even early in the campaign so psygnosis patched the game to have bronze/silver/gold times (gold being the previous time to beat) just so campaign progress would not hard stall on these events.

ATV Offroad Fury

I've tried these, but they don't run very well on emulator except for ATV Offroad Fury 4

Not many games let me be a racist on the moon.

Racing games were the lowest common denominator genre a couple generations ago though, it was the most popular type of game played by all for a good while

I still remember being hyped as fuck for MW2012. When it finally arrived at my local game store, they had it set up on a display console for people to try. I went over, started playing, and after five minutes I was like, 'Wait a second, this is just Burnout Paradise".

I floor a 396 cubic inch muscle car in second gear and it accelerates like an economy car

Stock Camaro? Realistic desu. Stock muscles on modern tires are slow and nowhere near as fun as they would be on the garbage they drove on in the 60s.
But also shows how shitty Carbon's tier system is, tier 3 Cuda will always be faster than tier 1 Camaro. That's just Carbon things.
Pro Street is a lot less arcadey so muscles do indeed not handle well, at least if not tuned. They aren't good, but you can make them work.

Someone told me once that muscle cars are only good at going fast in a straight line. Anything else, you're basically fighting your own car. Muscles in PS absolutely dominated drag, were acceptable choices for speed, and straight up sucked at anything else without extensive tuning only a very small set of probably autistic people would have patience for.

Just gotta live with the unfixable broken framepacing. Stutter is soul.

I find it strange that on PS2 there's this piss filter that makes the sky look sort of greenish. It's not very noticeable unless you slowly exit a tunnel and see the sky go from blue to blue-green. I can roll with MW's piss filter since Rockport is a shithole riddled with crime, but not HP2 on PS2.

We all agree that racing games should have a DnB soundtrack right?

look on Steam last week for racing games

none of them appeal to me because mountains of DLC or they have EA/denuvo/etc. malware on it or are a bunch of kartslop

Willing to admit I didn't look hard enough but repeatedly getting recommended Forza over and over again was starting to get old

Hell yeah. My cousin had that when I was a kid and I always begged to play it. I need to find a copy of it from somewhere since I recently rebought a PS2.

GT6 had moon rover missions

it was the most popular type of game played by all for a good while

GTA doesn't count as a racing game, they were never this ubiquitous. Just really popular due to early 2000s car culture.

too rad for PC, PS1, and the Saturn

too cool to come back during the Black Box era

R.i.p. X-Man. He is gone, but not forgotten, for he is forever digitally immortalized.

What is a modern-ish equivalent to Gran Turismo? By that I mean a game with a large emphasis on earning money to buy/upgrade cards, to compete in better races, to earn more money, etc. Games with good career modes.

I completed this game recently and it's amazing, what should I play next? I tried Forza Motorsport 4 and it feels like slow and corporate

mcla.jpg - 284x177, 15.92K

Would a NFSU/NFSMW street racing game with modern cars even work? Most cars seem to be boring SUV/Crossover/Pickup nowadays

I wish there was a meaningful way to throw modern computing power at TNFS but the windows version is effectively broken and you are inherently limited to what you can do with DOS games even with the capabilities of dosbox and its forks.

Wreckfest, BeamNG, 1nsane, NFS Porsche, GTA IV

Wasn't there an online NFS before World that was just that? Motor City Online?

Everyone played Gran Turismo, NFS, and Burnout back in the day anon, as a whole they were the most popular genre. Around that you had popular stuff like Driver, Twisted Metal, Ridge Racer, Colin McRae, etc. GTA Vice City & San Andreas were generational hits but no other open world games that gen were that big

Midnight club 2.

play l.a remix

For me it's Burnout Revenge for the PS2

861x1200.jpg - 861x1200, 167.33K

pic related was way too hard for kid me.
Also I'm trying to remember some kind of PS2 Destruction Derby clone that had various modes like car soccer, anybody remembers the name?

Twisted Metal was never even on the same playing field.

Psst, don't spread it around but i've got some hot new cheats for you.

I do been wanting to try out MC2. Should I play it on PC or PCX2?

Don't you like the newest one?

They really weren't, fighting stuff and RPGs have always been more popular among normalfags. But IIRC Gran Turismo was still a top 10 best selling PS4 game, top 3 or 4 on PS3, the franchise is just that big, not many simcades worth playing.

Whatever happened to MotorStorm btw? I really waited for a PS4 game

The best one in the series. Mogs paradise.

lol

PC is better and easier, 60 fps genuinely helps here. If you want maximum cock and ball torture then go for PS2 emulation, the game technically the same but lower fps, limited resolution and emulation input delay makes the game noticeably harder.
But beware if you have some sort of 480hz display, the game has unlocked fps but past 60 fps cars start to go slower and weird physics shit starts to happen.

Doesn't really matter. Just make sure on PC you cap it to 30fps (which is what the ps2 runs at) as physics are tied to framerate. I tend to play the PC version these days myself but that is just because i'd rather not deal with pcsx2 if I don't have to.

You shouldn't play it 60fps as it nerfs car performance.

I'll give them a look. I looked at Wreckfest before and noticed people were complaining about the multiplayer or whatever but multiplayer isn't a particular selling point for me anyway.

oh so you are racist, huh

file.png - 414x340, 242.97K

And city design is shit, we joke about Forza FATrison but tuner-era NFS pioneered highway-wide roads (hiding them behind sidewalks and grass that aren't sidewalks and aren't grass)

MW05's city is great though and I say that as someone who hates both UG2 and Carbon's cities. Lots of landmarks and unique road layout setpieces, the different districts feel separate enough while still being comfy industrial autumn (I wanted to say rust belt but I'm assuming they based it on their home northwest instead), and yeah you can drive on the sidewalks but they aren't a free pass, last time I played my dear Elise would never play nice with the sidewalk lip and end up doing a barrel roll five times out of ten.

I wonder if I should try to replay this or if I should just let it simmer as a good memory.

underground babbies definitely do

Remind me anons, which of the following is certain?

A: Cheese

B: Collision

C: Crystal

Name a racing game on steam that has solid weighty cars, I don't care if they are arcade-like, just make the cars have weight as they travel through the map and not float on nothing-ness.

I'm a underground baby and I like anything that doesn't suck (Pro Street, Burnout clones and no cap fr trilogy)

The OG. Stage 2 had so many awesome time attack maps.

I really waited for a PS4 game

Sorry, did you say you waited for Spiderman: Actually Black and God Of War: Single Dad Simulator?

the secret is that the midnight club series in general is just not good

no cap fr trilogy

lol

Play Driver: San Francisco instead. It's fantastic. It also has the OG tutorial as a side mission.

I still hold out hope the ridge racer series will return.

THIS IS YOUR LIFE

MC2 is great but rest of the series I'd agree it's not that good.

another anon said GRID but didn't say which one

the first one, race driver grid 2008
it's been delisted so sail the seven seas for it

did they take all the game's sound effects from this scene? lol

Why the fuck did he ruin the car and keep crashing, I dont get it

every year smugglers run stays dead is another year off my life
fuck you rockstar i'm tired of the GTA Machine

Pro Street

suck

Had it not been for the laws of this track, I would have punted you into the wall.

They were shitty criminals with poor reputation trying to do a retarded heist, so he just asserted dominance and showed that he wouldn't crumble under pressure, as long they paid.
Watch the movie, it's great.

they said he had no balls, gotta spook these fags a little

they needed him more that he needed them, he was a pro and they were basically a bunch of shitty thieves

It always tickles me that driver sampled the crashing sound at 2:13 for its crashing sounds as well.

You poor bastard.

That's just F-Zero with cars on the track.

the mechanical precision of both f-zero X and GX make burnout look like a fucking liquid shit, that's insulting to even say

it's very fun but you'll reach the end of the current content around 10 hours and then it's just tuning your car and challenging randoms. I think it's definitely worth it for the current amount of content but can understand wanting to wait. These devs have a history of good support so I wanted to buy early

I was talking about the visual feel, dummy.

For the team behind it they made Drive Club because Sony wanted a racing game with online features. After that most of them joined Codemasters Evo and made Onrush and DIRT 5. Now they're part of Criterion.

They sampled everything. There's even a scene where the hubcaps fall exactly like they do in the game.

Now they're part of Criterion

its my GOTY

Onrush

is it good?

take developer known for racing games

exile them to the Battlefield mines

Sometimes I feel like EA being what it is isn't just basic greed and incompetence but intentional and spiteful malice.

fun part is that they did it twice, black box died in the battlefield mines too

at this point wait for 1.0, it shouldnt be long

It's true

Namco were so much cooler before they got bought out by Bamco

cool shit like Ridge Racer, Time Crisis, Ace Combat, etc

Tekken was high effort, Soul Calibur had actual soul

weird experimental shit like Katamari Damacy, Breakdown, etc

They're so bland and lame now

Wrong, Burnout 3 is the best one.

I don't understand - could you perhaps phrase the question differently?

How about the Firebugs for PS1, the original spiritual sequel to Rollcage?

Arcade racers are for low IQ retards
