I started playing reforged, classic graphics, but during the very first prologue mission I was getting invisible enemies so I downloaded 1.31 instead and am playing that. It's pretty nice. I like WC1 and 2 remastered a lot too. I do kinda wanna play reforged though with the new graphics cause I'm autistic and like the portraits matching their WoW counterparts.

you should definitely try the enhanced versions, and theres a reversed version of the tutorial and human campaigns, where you play as the enemies in every level

The addition of lua scripting has really changed the custom map scene, and now you're able to do some really crazy shit. Look up 8 Bit Raid to see exactly what W3 custom maps can do now.
