That's crazy to think about too. How can Anon Babble actually have a discussion about the game with 20 bot threads going at all times?
Yeah, Anon Babble is just a fucked up place. Everyone knows this, but the contrast between threads for shilled games and actually organic video game threads, here specifically, is enormous.
Like, if there is a game that only ever has one (1) "general" type thread in the catalogue, you can guarantee that thread is full of actual video game discussion. No shills excessively poisoning the well, just people who played the game and want to talk about the game. But then, after about a month or so, those threads start getting deleted or moved to Anon Babble for being "generals", and if people continue making those threads on Anon Babble they might even get moved to Anon Babble out of spite. That's the fate of actual video game threads on Anon Babble.
Then you have excessive shill campaigns, like Clair Obscur, and there are constantly 20 threads on the catalogue, but not a single one of them is actually talking about the game. If any of them give the air of a thread that might possibly be talking about the video game, for real, you open it and it's just a bunch of shills trying to quiet any posts that show even the slightest hints of criticism against the game. Someone can type a character-limit post talking about details of the narrative or of the gameplay, and if there is even one criticism in there, instead of people going "yeah, that sucks, I still like the game though" which is what happens in real video game threads, in these shill threads you'll have """2""" different retards trying to tell you that your criticism of the game is wrong and that you didn't actually play it.
It's just crazy. The more threads a video game has on Anon Babble, the less you are able to actually talk about it.
