NTA but yes it looks like shit which is why so few people picked it up. The game only appeals to 40+ year olds who are elbow deep in nostalgia and zoomers who think parroting the idea of "game play is all that matters" makes them unique. Not that the original is terrible, but it's not the sort of masterful writing I would expect of Codex's "Game of the Year" especially when that game is an old school RPG that's completely reliant on delivering its scenes through text.
