What's your GOTY so far?
What's your GOTY so far?
Haven't played anything made in 2025 so far
SaGa Emerald Beyond
I don't care if it didn't come out this year, still my GOTY
fpbp
AC Shadows is the only game that I played from this year
Is that even a question?
Expedition 33 I guess. But I haven't played many games. Just KCD2, AC Shadows, Oblivion Remaster and Expedition 33. I cant think of anything coming out this year I might like more other than maybe Metroid Prime 4.
Doom or tempest rising
Fantasy life as that's the only one I've played from this year
It will be Mario Kart World
I keep track of vidya releases each year like an autist, and I can confidently say I don't care about any of these
Prime 4, Look Outside, Darwin's Paradox and Hibernaculum seem decent, a bit worried about Prime 4 being bland though
Bananza or Metroid Prime 4
tainted grail for me
weak ass year holy moly.
No clue who wins goty. Prolly exp 33 since everyone and their mother is sucking it off currently.
Most of those are forgotten, even by the people who spent time shitting on them
Grim.
No shit we live in an ADHD age where people switch topics every week
RE5 controversy wouldn't last for a week if it happened in 2025
But I haven't played many games.
Most people don't play that many games. The Nintendo Switch has been out for 8 years, and the average Switch user don't own much more than 8 or 9 games.
damn OP that's an ass cancer list
AC Shadows
Ubislop
Atomfall
CRPG slop
Avowed
Obsidian trash
Blue Prince
didnt play looks mid
E33
GOAT
Doom Dark Ages
Looks okay
Elden Cringe
Didnt play
Oblivion

Jakuze
Slop reddit franchise
Monster Hunter

Ninja Gaiden
Didnt play
South of Mid
Its mid
Split Fiction
its solid
Tomb Raider
its a remaster
So far this year has been mediocre, this is 2015 all over again, few great games mixed with a lot of slop
Doom
All of these games are shit and I woulnt touch them even if I got paid.
The average Switch user is a kid who got the console as a present and might be allowed to buy 2 or 3 games every year
I think this year is doing okay, I need to work on my backlog more.
no you have to talk about it 24/7 or you forgot about it
you can't ever complete a discussion about a topic there always has to be more
The monochrome JK one.
no, but as a rule you'd have to remember it for longer than 3 weeks for it to be game of the "year"
KCD2 but that's the only I played on the list
Mine is First Berserker: Khazan
I know we say this every year the past few years, but holy shit is AAA gaming dead
Even Doom, Fromslop and Wilds are mediocre disappointments
all the open-world shit
no thanks
Man what a shit year
Yeah, Ive been thinking and there arent many good medium or high budget games on the recent years
No wonder E33 is getting such high praise among a sea of shitty overbudgeted slop
BG3
E33
Ghost of Sushi
Wukong
Stellar blade
Disco Elysium
Cyberpunk
All flawed games and far from "great" but those are the only ones I liked recently
Played 33, atomfall and oblivion, and holy shit, oblivion still is one of the best games I'll ever play.
Maybe it is because I grew up playing it, but holy shit it is still my GOAT to this day.
I think it's just you being retarded.
I also "grew up" playing it, as in I played it when I was 13 and thought it was ugly and awkward and went back to morrowind.
Deltarune
E33, but mostly because the music is so good. Apart from that, I haven't played anything good that was released in 2025. The Oblivion remaster was a genuine demake, Doom the dark ages was incredibly gay and not DOOM, Nightreign appears to be truly mediocre. Idk man, seems like kind of a bad year for new games so far. I've mostly been playing old stuff anyway
I've only played Blue Prince out of these and it's comfy kino. Don't know about GOTY material but it's solid.
Blue Prince then E33
Sexpedition 33
Kcd 2 obviously
Where my South of midnight bros
In our hearts and memories :D
it's June already
FUCK
uhhhh this year i've enjoyed Golden Idol Investigations: The Sins of New Wells and Rise of the Ronin's PC port
i don't even know if there are any games i'm looking forward to, maybe that Mafia prequel
I was disappointed with Oblivion having not played it before the remaster and found it to be exactly what people have warned me about bestheda games: atmosphere simulators with little role playing or interesting combat. The game needs to be good at one or the other for me to love the game.
