Your picrel calls colony people "spacenoids" and regular humans "earthnoids"
Earth for the Spacenoids Operation British best day of my life
Poor irrelevant Sayla
Star Wars currency is actually called Dataries. "Credits" are just shorthand for the galactic currency standardization scheme, the Galactic Credit Standard.
Gquux is kino

Only when my son is on screen
i just started watching 0079
it's great fun
I remember almost nothing besides it being very comfy and laughing at Amuro's autism
How you like it anon. Out of curiosity, are watching the original series or the movies?
The Gundam says...trans rights.
shut up nyaan
*hope you like it. I hate my phone
it seems pretty comfy yeah
original series. i'm only 8 episodes in but i'm enjoying it a lot so far. i watched SEED and destiny back to back prior to this and 0079 is a breath of fresh air after how bad destiny ended up being. it's kind of interesting seeing in retrospect how much of the original SEED copied beat for beat.

NOT ANYMORE
If gundam is so great, why is there no good gundam game?
You've got a great ride ahead of you, I would say 0079, Turn A, and GBF are the three greatest TV series in the franchise. Give War in the Pocket a watch after you finish, short 6 ep OVA set around the same time
it makes Evangelion look competent and wall thought out
They had good gundam game for 10 years, then a landslide brought it down
What should the earth be called instead of Terra?
Gaia
earf
blue mommy
You are going to have a fun time with the series, I can tell you that. Coincidentally, I'm watching Seed right now and seeing what the lifted out of the original is fun
Ugliest Gundam designs I've ever seen. jesus fuck.

That bitch is going to make Quess look rational
Gameplay wise it's better but the story is kinda boring

Anything that jerks Char off misses the point of his character entirely
Remove Earth
Does it get better? First few episodes are a slog
Would you prefer if they still used gold coins?
I always compared char and kamille in zeta to a more competent coach mcguirk and brendon. the color scheme is even similar
So I just started watching Zeta, and so far I don't get the hate. The series seems like it improves on all camps
Kamille is more interesting that Amuro
Char is a main character
the conflict between Spacenoids and Earthlings is more nuanced
80s animation
My only problem so far is that I despise Jerid, but that's the point.
Using the same standards we use to name exoplanets, earth's exoplanet name would be 1 sol a or 1 sol c
i actually watched WitP on recommendation of a friend already. i didn't think i'd like it because i usually wash out of kid-focused material (for example, i really dislike the first act of Tales of Graces), but it was really good. also, the design of the kampfer is pure sex
i've seen a lot of people say they dislike seed but i actually ended up liking it a decent amount
hard for me to say, i'm not that far into it myself, but i'm already enjoying it. i've heard the movies are decent, so if you aren't enjoying the TV series but still want to get the gist of the story, that might be an option
It does get better, but it's still pretty slow I'd say. If you didn't like episode 08, it'll probably be hard for you to sit through to the "better" parts.
Zeta is amazing. I think the hate just comes from a vocal minority
Sol III
Just watch the compilation movies
The only reason I'm not seething about Gcucks is that's actually getting people to go back and watch the good shows
Kamille is notably an aggressive retard at the start, but it's understandable why. Jerid on the other hand is a pompous douche but that's about the worst of his flaws for a while. Zeta's problem is that it retreads story beats a couple times I'd say but it's still good and even then you see it from different perspectives of Kamille's growth. That, and the actions of some characters will make you go "what the fuck is wrong with you" later on.
Personally I walked away from the last few episodes feeling they were a bit abrupt but the whole situation IS chaotic and I do... appreciate, I suppose is the word, the ending.
That's the goal of the show
if you like mecha you like zeta. it's inseparable. it drags a bit before the last stretch but it's not for nothing. many factions vying for power, characters on all sides are explored in depth, political games being played, and it's all tied together with peak sunrise production.
Anything that jerks Char off
So little girls, mostly?
I must admit that I have a Spacenoid bias , so maybe that's why I'm really enjoying Zeta so far.
I mean 0079 retreads Amuro being sad and depressed like 4 times. My actual biggest problem so far is that it seems Zeta is following the trope of give a secondary character some sort of romantic promise on the episode they die. Happened with Matilda, Sleggar... on Lila's episode I just knew she was going to die, and not because of her actions but because of her promise.
Bob.
JUSTICE FORE VEKTA
GET THE FUCK OFF OUR PLANET ISA DOGS
VISARI WAS RIGHT
People start to act very very retarded in the last fourth of the show.
gets glassed by a greasy mexican
Rico was such a fucking cunt, God I hated him in 1 and 2. Hating on my boy Hakha, then getting Dante killed and not finishing Templar's mission after he died too by being a retard and shooting Visari, which made 3 all the more hellish since they couldn't use Visari as a bargaining chip to get off helghan.
BLUE STAR
BLUE STAR
I hate bask om
Woke shit
Kino
someone else who actually played the first game and remembered the turncoat Hakha
Now that's a rare treat. Just a shame how they treated Jan in the later games because they wanted you to run as a serb with some durag wearing hippie for a friend. Rico was always a fucking dickhead and I still don't know what they saw in him.
I haven't watched the show yet. Why is it woke?
It has a female main character acting like an irrational female
???
Isn't that the opposite of woke? Wouldn't a woke show have an extra competent girl-boss Mary Sue?
I thought we liked Kamille.
The show isn't woke at all, the main character throws her comfortable life away for a man that doesn't even love her
Templar was cool and I liked how hard he went in Liberation. Shame he got sidelined to CO duty IIRC Liberation and 2 aren't that far apart so I was surprised when the game was being developed that he was a general.
SIEG ZEON!
SHUT UP JERID GO BACK TO WHERE THE WOMEN ARE
they put Anno's name on kwucks
he writes his Char fanfic for ep2 and never touched the show again
kinda based desu
I can still feel his presence with rose of sharon, gfred, el diablo nyaanqo, I wish evashit would fuck off.
I'm watching GDuuuuuux with friends and the second I saw Gfred I started losing it. Also the art style shifting from trying to go for the classic look to that nu-pokemon style throws me off
Human Empire Capital
vocal minority
Just contrarian f/a/ggots.
You forgot one other thing.
Earth as a whole is ruled by a singular government.
Zeta's problem is that it's not easily accessible unless you know a lot of secondary and tertiary information. It's a fanboy's show.
Amuro was put through a lot of really rough situations and is just a child. It's perfectly understandable that he'd struggle with depression after everything he went through.
This one nearly never seems entirely believable, At least we are shown that there are active independence movements in ZZ, even if execution leaves a bit to be desired..
I'm watching Dougram and it handles the idea of an earth government very well so far, Earth states arming and funding the independence movement on another planet so to undermine the material monopolization of another earth state.
This one nearly never seems entirely believable
Because it's not. At a global scale we're still pretty individualistic. The most we'll unify is a group of countries banding together for mutual benefits like the UN, but that isn't a body governing those nations.
The reason it's done that way is because sci-fi writers are either too lazy to add it in the lore or do not have multinational politics as a driving thing in their story so they don't wanna bog things down with it.
That's why you see the whole "one world government" thing being applied to alien species too.
consider going to therapy or try watching with a friend, cant imagine someone being so joyless
Funny how all the fags in Quux would just be cannon fodder against Amuro in the main timeline. Eliminate him and suddenly every loser single episode villain becomes famous in universe.
Sol-3.
Makes no sense either way.
If aliens are the ones that chose to call it that, why follow earth naming conventions? Humans came up with calling our star Sol.
What exactly was Lost Jerusalem?
Isn't he one of the strongest pilots in UC by pure skill alone?
It only makes sense if Earth becomes a backwater in a larger human civilization or nukes itself to oblivion or something.
I preordered all the gqux kits so far <3
Our… HEROES!!!!
It started off rough but now that we're out the clan battle shit and shuji is gone it's slowly getting better.
Isn't he one of the strongest pilots in UC by pure skill alone?
Yes which is why removing him suddenly turned minor villains into more prominent characters in the current show which takes place in an alt timeline where Char and Zeon managed to take White Base and Gundam in the first episode successfully. That sort of thing just highlighted how much of an insane kill count he got over the course of the original series despite starting off as a civilian in an overpowered (at the time) suit.
Ugly-ass MS designs. How the hell is this UC?
wouldn't it actually be Sol c?
Ghirens Greed is good
Alt UC. All design differences are an artstyle thing, think of how Zero and X looked different in Megaman Zero.
First few episodes are a slog
Amuro enters the Gundam and starts whooping ass in episode 1. If you think this is a slog then this franchise isn't for you.
I liked Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam, Dynasty Warriors Gundam and Battle Assault 2.
Gundam deserves a game similar in approach to Steel Battalion, but we'll never get it.
Used to play GBO2 on PC at launch. Terrible lag plus 600+ rank matches... you'll see what's like to face a NewType in an overpowered suit, it ain't easy buddy! I truly respect Zaku pilots!
It's a Lalah's spirit tells you to kill yourself episode
Has anyone played that seed game that just got ported to steam? Is it decent?
Its weird that Artesia isn't more famous
I wanna build a goog
i think it's pretty fun. however, it's light on story (might be a plus) and a lot of the suits are just recolors or "X's ginn" type stuff so the "over 100 mobile suits" figure is inflated. controls can be a little frustrating at times too. i would just see if you can pirate it first to see if you like it.
Amuro is good but I think Judau would fuck him up. Uso might put him down too but that kid is a pyschopath
I’ve been extremely unimpressed with Machu so far. Aleta would slaughter her in a few seconds
Gundam Crossfire is the closest you'll get
Could a Gundam series inspired by Titanfall work?
Set in a different solar system
Mobile Suits have AI
Pilots are basically super soldiers
I remember playing the entire game and thought it was shit, and then I started the Feddie campaign and discovered the lock-on button that the game never tells you about and it became 10x better
There was that Xbox exclusive game that was this. Forgot the name but the gundams dropped in like titanfall and acted like tanks in a battlefield like game. I think it was called operation Troy
