Static figures usually have better paint application and detail. I heard from someone in the figure industry years ago say that detailed paintwork vastly increases the price of a figure.

Not even just mediocre face sculpts but actively bad looking face sculpts, they make Dante look like a creepy rapist. And the pleather jacket looks ridiculous poofy on him, and some people who have him have said it starts to flake apart over time. I hoped someone else would make better DMC action figures later down and it seems like Brotoys has prototypes for 3rd party DMC5 figures and those face sculpts look way better.
The old Revo Dante is pretty ugly too, but somehow not as offensive to me as the 1000 toys one and it was more reasonably priced.
